I said "Bivol has cleared out the division to be fair to him. He has beaten pretty much everyone apart from Beterbiev.". I clearly meant that he had beat pretty much all top contenders in the division. Beterbiev isn't a contender as he is a unified champion and I said Bivol has beaten all valid contenders except from Beterbiev,

Bivol does have a better depth of resume than Beterbiev. Beterbiev went life and death with Anthony Yarde, who wouldn't lay a glove on Bivol.

Would be great if the Bivol v Yarde fight could be made so we see what may or not happen.

Bivol went 12 with Castillo who Callum Smith nearly killed in 2.

Bivol went 12 with Smith Jr who Beterbiev did in 2.

Bivol went 12 with Richards who is crap.

    etc etc.

We can all pick results out.

That’s weird as when Fury has one belt and someone else has 3 Fury has “dominated” the division according to you.

You're right he went 12 rounds with those guys, but he dropped less than 6 rounds combined in all of those 3 fights. Bivol's style isn't to blast out opponents like Beterbiev. I understand that that means Beterbiev will drop more rounds and get into more trouble during fights, but the Yarde fight surprised me a lot as a guy like Yarde shouldn't have that much success against someone people claim is the best in the division. Callum Johnson also dropped Beterbiev. Bivol has never been in trouble during his career, only against Joe Smith Jr who landed a massive right hand after the bell went.

Anyway, we can both agree that we are only interested in seeing Bivol against Beterbiev and no one else. It's a shame that Arum and Hearn aren't willing to work together on that one. Bivol should defend his title against whoever ending his Matchroom deal, and then sign with Top Rank to make the Beterbiev fight.

Matchroom have done a great job with Bivol but the Undisputed fight is only possible if he moves to Top Rank. This is ignoring the possibility of Callum Smith beating Beterbiev which is definitely possible. Looking forward to seeing Callum Smith against Beterbiev on Sky Sports next month.

Wouldn’t lay a glove on him apparently (unless he leaves Warren and signs for Matchroom. Then it’s 50/50 fight).

I don’t see why it shouldn’t be made. It’s the next natural challenge for Yarde to try and get a belt. Good fight for both after Yarde gets a comeback win.

How have Matchroom done a great job for Bivol? He’s had one statement win because they ‘fed’ him to Canelo and matchmaker Hearn got that one badly wrong. Apart from that they have been very average for him.

That’s it mate, different styles. Bivol wouldn’t lose rounds to Yarde but then Beterbiev wouldn’t go points with Castillo and Richards.

Beterbiev is like GGG - the old ‘you hit me and I’ll hit you twice as hard back’ style whereas I bet Bivol hasn’t had a knockout for about 5/6 years.

I hope Smith beats Beterbiev. He has the power and his counter left hook is probably my favourite shot in boxing but as we saw in the Canelo fight he looked afraid of his power. Hopefully the extra weight gives him more confidence.

The post was about Bivol and Beterbiev, not sure why you’ve brought Joshua and Ruiz into it but I’m not surprised as it’s just the same copy and past nonsense that is in a loop going round and round your 1 brain cell.

They gave him numerous defences against top contenders to establish himself as number 1 in the division. Up to the Joe Smith Jr win I was impressed with what they were doing. Then he fought Castillo, Richards and Salamov and I was wondering why they weren't looking to unify. Matchroom gave him his biggest payday which he will never exceed during his career against Canelo. It doesn't matter if he was an "opponent" for Canelo. They got him a fight against the biggest star in boxing.

Bivol then got paid a huge amount of money to headline in Abu Dhabi in a routine defence against the overhyped Gilberto Ramirez, which drew huge viewing figures from UK, US and Mexican fans. Obviously Bivol deserves credit for beating Canelo, but Matchroom did deliver him the Canelo fight, something Bob Arum couldn't deliver to Beterbiev. Bivol is in a great position financially now and is the most well known fighter at 175.

Bivol’s first fight with Matchroom was the Smith Jr fight so they weren’t doing anything with him prior to that fight.

Second thing you’ve made up on this thread in order to praise Matchroom / discredit Beterbiev after saying Gvozdyk went points with Bolotniks when it was a 6th round knockout.
