How about your Ginger Headed Hero lacking the intestinal fortitude to repay Bivol for putting his 175 title up against, Canelo for a comparable pittance, while Ginger one refuses to risk his 168 titles in a rematch for a decent payday????? The fact Suliaman & the WBC refuse to sanction the fight ,supposedly due to the Ukraine conflict surprises no one . The WBC are notorious lol

Bro the WBC said they weren’t sanctioning Russian fighters before Canelo even fought Bivol, and how is Canelo draining a career 175 guy down to 168 showing fortitude and how is Bivol moving down to fight a smaller fighter him being great?? Greatness is Canelo moving up to 175 and fighting Kovalev and Bivol while Bivol a career 175 guy hasn’t attempted to fight Kovalev or Beterbiev

Things that I don’t care about as a man and a boxing fan, how much another person makes. Bivol did the right thing for him.

the terms were you walk out 1st even though Bivol is the Champ & Canelo the challenger
    (Mad disrespectful… but whatever)
& they were fighting for Bivol’s Strap
Well that is old hat, after Bivol whooped him convincingly- no need for a rematch at 175lb
    bivol is satiated.

if Nelo really wants the rematch Bivol wanted to challenge him for his straps at 168lb … bivol wants a shot at daring to be great as well
Otherwise what’s the point aside from another “PeyDey” after all we established money isn’t everything to a guy like Bivol.

That’s what Bivol wanted or no deal
Looks like he got what he wanted.

Canelo is still fighting at 168lb
With the front runner being an inactive Charlo
So why not Bivol at 168lbs?
(Especially since he “wants” that get back!)

Because Canelo makes people money…which is why we all go to work, fighters are no exception.

In an ideal world Bivol would call the shots, but it's about brand and money. Canelo is a bigger brand and commands more money even though he lost. Bivol isn't making another big fight or as much money without fighting Canelo. Not what I would hope for, but it's the truth.

Think about the retired fighters from the 80’s and 90’s who were left with nothing. Any fighter who doesn’t take every dime they can from this game, while risking their lives and livelihood will live to regret it. “Legacy” is important, very important, but money is most important. You’re one lawsuit, one bad business deal, from being broke and left being a 40 year old, unskilled, uneducated, person trying to navigate the rest of your life.

Why doesn't Canelo just move up to 175? He obviously doesn't want to fight Benavidez. There's Yarde, Browne, Joe Smith, Beterbiev.

Plant earned $10m for facing Clenelo. Smith allegedly $8m-$10m. And BJS 2.0 allegedly $8m.

Bivol earned $2 mill guaranteed with a potential of it rising to $5 mill after his PPV cut

Bivol had a better resume than all of them and had made seven defences of his world title going into the fight. He's made 9 now and he's coming off back to back drubbings of the then P4P king Clenelo and undefeated Zurdo.

This Eurasian King played with Clenelo and made it look easy and everytime Clenelo tried to assert himself he was quickly slapped back down. Bivol even stood head to head with him for spells in the championship rounds, as if to offer Clenelo a lifeline by standing exactly where Clenelo wanted and needed him to be, and guess what Bivol bossed him at that range too. Now Clenelo will never get a chance to avenge his loss to that Eurasian King and he will have to carry that L with him for life and all because he refused to treat Bivol with due respect at the negotiating table.

Canelo wanted the fight @ 175 for several reasons, the main one being he didn't want anybody coming up with excuses that he drained Bivol, his own words. And we all know he was right about that.

So by your own standards Canelo is a "man of principles" since he stuck to his guns.

Also Bivol will now be fighting a beltless no-hoper at 175 for a huge cut in pay, so why not Canelo at that weight?

We can go back and forth all day on this.

Canelo calls himself the King of Boxing ROFLMAO yet ducks a challenge from Bivol . After all Bivol accepted all Canelos demands & received a peanut check for putting his 175 title on the line against the awesome King Canelo. Bivol kicked the crazy so called King's butt in the process made him look ordinary. YET When Bivol offers to fight Canelo for his 168 titles he scrounged @ 168 for a more realistic check The MIGHTY King gives out a mighty QUACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & goes after a semi retired Jermall Charlo who hasn't fought in 2 years.
How on earth can any real boxing fan support this clown
Canelo zoomed in to fight Kovalev without giving him time to recover from being practically neutered by the pounding his testes took from Billy Goat Ward's none stop fouls that were all ignored by ref Tony Weekes.
Now he's picking on Jermall Charlo who is obviously in no condition to make a serious challenge
King Canelo ????????? Nah more like CLOWN PRINCE Canelo Its unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
