Who Is The Best Fighter That "Comeback Foreman '', Could Have Possibly Beat?

All you have to do is look at Stewart's face vs Tyson in the staredown. If that's not someone who isn't intimidated then I don't know what is.

But then again Tyson is pretty much the only one to blow Stewart away without any complications, as I said Moorer and Holyfield certainly had their problems vs Stewart as did Foreman.

 

I asked why Stewart isn't being picked to win against past heavyweight champions etc on this forum when he proved to be near the level of comeback Foreman.

 

I think he could spring an upset against a few champions, any capable Heavyweight with a big punch would be dangerous. I think Stewart showed enough vs Foreman, Moorer, Holyfield. To logically make an assumption that he could win against one of the weaker belt holders, or some of the Heavyweights of the past that were smaller than him. Off the top of my head I'm not sure who but I'm pretty sure there would be a few.

 

It doesnt matter if stewart was scared because he went down from tysons first punch of the fight. It was over anyway.
He doesnt last any longer no matter what his mental state would have been. Tyson was all over him. Too quick and powerful.

 

Old Foreman was Maskaev level. The main differences are that Foreman had a better chin and Maskaev was better at winning rounds.

 

I never said it did nor do i think Stewart would ever have a chance vs Tyson, it's a horrible match up for him but Tyson is a bad match up for most.

I'm just saying you could see Stewart was visibly intimidated and froze, which is what I said earlier in my post "if you allow Stewart to get into fight he can be dangerous". But Tyson is one of the fastest starting Heavyweights of all time who's a KO specialist so it's not good match up for Stewart.

 

Stewart was a big underachiever.
Feel bad for him, kind of like frank bruno without the happy ending.

 

Stewart didn't fight that many top guys there are probably plenty of guys who could have blown him away without any trouble whatsoever had he fought them like say
Tua
Ruddock
Witherspoon
etc

 

Well Foreman, Holyfield, Moorer, are arguably top 5 Heavyweights of the 90s maybe in Foreman's case a bit below top 5. But still based on the fact Stewart gave all 3 of those fighters huge scares shows he was capable.

I don't think he beats Tua, Ruddock, Witherspoon, either. But I could see Stewart beating other weaker belt holders like Seldon, Ruiz, for example.

 

Witherspoon didn`t punch harder than Foreman a several fighters went the distance with him, Tua and Ruddock had far more early stoppages than Tim did.

 

Holyfield, Lewis, Tyson, Bowe, Klitchko were all far better than Foreman.

 

I wouldn't put the Klits very high in the 90's. They are much more 2000's fighters.

 

His 2nd round KO over Hide puts him above Foreman.

 

No beating Michael Moorer----> beating Herbie Hide.
