Hard to think of any worse.

    Sorry Leon RIP.

Maussa (thought this was all time all weights at first, and I really disliked this welterweight lol)

Spinks although I hate to say it. I can't imagine him beating any of the all timers.

Just Lineal ? Hasim Rahman, Shannon Briggs, Leon Spinks.

Briggs might actually technically be the worst because he got a gift decision vs a 47 year old Foreman, atleast Rahman and Spinks won their fights legitimately.

I have to agree with those who say Leon Spinks. To be fair he was a decent fighter with good potential but it didn’t last or go very far

But what do you think about the point I made about Briggs ? He got a gift decision against Foreman who was nearly 50. Atleast Spinks won his fight very convincingly although against a faded Ali.

I don't understand why Briggs is considered lineal by some people. Following the win over Moorer Foreman showed no interest in facing top contenders and thus should have lost recognition as champ.

For Briggs to be considered lineal you would have to believe a champion has no obligation whatsoever to face top opponents meaning Fury could go on fighting nobody's for the next 25 years and retain lineal status

It's based on the literal interpretation that the lineal champion can only lose that status by being defeated or retiring.

I accept your argument as valid that Briggs was never "the man" at HW & that lineal status doesn't always have the same relevance in the modern era that it used to.

Briggs, Rahman, Douglas, and Leon Spinks. And of the four, the worst is Leon Spinks.
