He didn't duck anyone, apart from Wilder and Fury and he didn't win against anyone big. He just kept his big claims.

Joshua has had a great career for a guy who has good but not elite talent.

His fans thought he was better than he is, but he’s still very good and has a strong resume.

He’s in decline now just like the other top HWs, so people better enjoy him while they can. The next crop of guys looks horrible.

The beauty of it is if AJ didn't fight Ruiz or beat Ruiz first time around Eddie was still going to send him to Usyk to get slapped up.

You sound like a stupid child. Worst loss in history?? OK..you sure aren't a hyperbolic drama queen.. AJ was an Olympic gold medalist. They tend to get picked up and promoted big early on. Is that news to you??

I think that's a bit harsh. He has plenty good of wins, including Wladimir, Povetkin, Parker, Whyte and Ruiz II. I agree he does not have any *great* wins, as he is 0-2 against Usyk and hasn't fought Fury or Wilder.

But if he's not world class, then there are only two world class HWs and that can't be right.

Fury and Usyk are the only top HWs. It's a rather arbitrary matter of qualification. But Joshua is not a top HW to me. Just a solid HW. Usyk and Fury are the real deal.

I agree they are the top two, of course, but to me Joshua and Wilder round out the quartet as they've also had great careers. After those four, it's a huge dropoff to everyone else at this juncture.

Come on, yeah his career took a nose dive, but at least he fought Usyk, instead of ducking his mandatory he fought him. How many mandatories did Wilder have during his near 5 year reign? 2 that I can recall.

Yes Joshua didn't live up to the hype. But at least he wasn't ducking opponents and making the fights that people wanted to see and actually tried to unify the belts. We've had so much moaning about the state of the heavyweights this year not fighting but that's not something we can accuse Joshua of when he was on top. When he was on top, he chased the Wlad fight, chased the unification with Parker, then chased the unification with Wilder, he faced his mandatories like Povetkin, Pulev and Usyk instead of doing his best to duck them.

Don`t think you can call him a disgrace, certainly not the greatest but he is an above average fighter without a doubt
