Mentally weak Jermello scared of Timmy and Crawford and is looking to cash out against Cownelo in a fight where he's expected to lose so there's no pressure for his part he will get his ass whooped and will most likely not fight again.

And Cownelo who has fought at 175 dragging some guy two divisions bellow when there are good deserving challengers in his weight class is one of the most pathetic moves I've ever seen.

To summarize this is garbage.

Meh; they were both 154 champs in 2016 if memory serves. Mell is big for the weight. Canelo will have a size advantage but they aren't worlds apart.

 

Honestly jermell is fighting at a higher level than jermall imo

 

But they are Undisputed champions in 2 separate divisions with ranked contenders waiting for their chance at the titles. This fight makes zero sense, and Canelo gets no credit from me.

 

Doesn’t matter. Canelo Mexican beefed his way out of the division and there’s no way he could get back down there now. Remember how he used to say he was not a real MW?

So here we have Jermell skipping a whole division with no time to develop a 168 body or fights to acclimate to that size.

Pointless fight.

 

I agree that part stinks, but this is part of a three-fight deal with Canelo, so I'm willing to wait to see how it bares out. If there's no Benavidez and/or Morell fight at the conclusion of it, THEN I'll be ready to reboard the "**** Canelo" train. Jermell...I get it. Take a high-reward, low-risk fight with a built-in excuse if/when you lose. I don't like it, but I get it. Absolutely devastated for Timmy, though.

Tyszu and Benevidez both earned their shots, this is a bull**** move if true. I'm still thinking Canelo got it wrong.

 

Timmy yes. Benavidez...wait and see.

 

Benevidez is a Mando, I think his victory over plant solidified him as the number 1 contender to the Undisputed Crown.

 

So is David Morell though (WBA mando), and everyone except Benavidez seemed to be under the impression that Benavdeiz vs Morell was next.
