LOL This is the Charlo that I've wanted him to fight. This is the more respected and more accomplished Charlo. This is Undisputed vs Undisputed.

What's funny is that for weeks we've been hearing about how Canelo shouldn't fight Jermall because he's been inactive for 2 years. Well then if you've been saying that about MALL, then MELL makes more sense. I've been saying for years that Mell is a more dangerous opponent for Canelo than Mall, he's more explosive, he's fought the tougher opposition, he's had more quality wins, etc.

To refresh your memory, I posted this topic two weeks ago :

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/what-if-canelo-fought-both-charlos.705239/

Read what I said about Jermell. (and there was a typo in the first post - I said in error that Jermell was LHW Undisputed, I obviously meant LMW lol)

But the point stands. This is a better fight, this is the fight that I've always wanted. If you go back to last year, I made other topics that made it pretty clear that I wanted to see Jermell fight Canelo instead of Jermall, that Jermell is a more dangerous fighter for Canelo than Jermall, that he's more explosive, more motivated to fight Canelo, etc.

So there's no mental gymnastics here bud. I've been calling for Jermell vs Canelo for a long long time and it's finally happening so I'm thrilled. And for people calling this pathetic, it's funny because for weeks they've been calling it pathetic for Canelo to fight Jermall because of inactivity. So now it's pathetic for Canelo to fight either Charlo? Please, this is the biggest fight that can be made right now. if Jermall isn't ready, due to inactivity, then Jermell makes more sense.

This will be a great fight guaranteed. For people saying Jermell is smaller than Jermall so it's more of a weight disparity, bro they're twins lol. Jermell is able to make the lower weight because he's in better shape than Jermall. Jermall does not train as hard as Jermell, Jermell is an absolute beast at 154, we seen what he did to Harrison and Castaño. It makes sense to fight this fight now because he's Undisputed at 154, but the thing is he's probably outgrowing 154 and could move up to Middleweight in his next fight anyway. Might as well have the fight now while he's still Undisputed at 154 so they can sell it as Undisputed vs Undisputed. This is epic, and I can't wait.

And for ya'll sleeping on Jermell's chances, don't. He is very capable of winning this fight. And he's probably the most explosive and dangerous puncher out there who has the best chance to actually hurt Canelo with a big shot. Now get back to your crying about Canelo fighting Mell, about how he's picking on the smaller Charlo, and all this stuff. If he fought Jermall you'd be crying about his inactivity and that Canelo i picking on a guy who's been inactive for two years. Canelo's fighting the less inactive Charlo who had a big KO win last year who's been calling for Undisputed vs Undisputed. This is a massive fight and I'm thrilled that he's fighting Jermell and not Jermall. This is the guy who deserves the shot.

    That Eurasian King is rising

Even you feel his King energy, Pimp

    Jermello feels it too

He not only feels that King energy he fears it and he knew deep in his heart and soul there was going to be a changing of the guard

He can feel Tsyzu's unshakable self-belief from thousands of miles away and he knew that King meant business and was coming for his head so he dropped his belts and let Tszyu run him out of his own division

Tony beat Jermello 1.5 times, Jermallo only beat him once

Spence punched Ocampo in his testicles which opened him up to the body shot, Tszyu sent a much better and more experienced Ocampo to the shadow realm

    I LOVE IT.

People were complaining about him fighting 2 years inactive MALL. So he fights the more active more explosive, more accomplished, Undisputed Charlo. Brilliant.

LOL no matter which Charlo he fought, people would complain. But Mell makes sense for a number of reasons. It's not like Mell is a much smaller guy than MALL, he's his TWIN after all. MELL at 154 is like Canelo when he was at 154, like when he fought Liam Smith. He had to cut weight just to make 154, but was clearly fighting a weight class below where he should be, only he was in such great shape he could still make 154. That's Jermell right now, he probably was thinking about moving up ever since beating Castaño but he's still Undisputed at 154 which makes this a bigger fight.

I don't care how much you guys wanna cry about this due to the weight difference. There's really not much weight difference, both Charlos are essentially Middleweights and have physical advantages against Canelo. Jermell Charlo has a significant HEIGHT and REACH advantage over Canelo. Also a definitely speed advantage, Jermell showed excellent footwork and a jab in the Castaño rematch. Make no mistake about it, he is a big threat to Canelo's SMW Undisputed and I'm glad he is getting his shot at becoming DOUBLE Undisputed. This is EPIC. This is history.

And I've said it before, but if there's anyone I would wanna see Dethrone Canelo, it would be Jermell. He's a great guy and great fighter. He's showed Canelo nothing but respect over the years. If anyone is to dethrone Canelo and make history I would want it to be Jermell. He's the better hungrier more motivated Charlo.

I know you said you didn't want to see Canelo fight Jermall because of the 2 years inactivity, and understandably so. I don't know about you, but I'm way more excited about him fighting Jermell. Jermell is more explosive and dangerous, and he's super motivated for this opportunity. That makes him dangerous and a bigger threat at Canelo's Undisputed. And the fact that he's Undisputed at 154 gives him the opportunity to become DOUBLE Undisputed. Also lets face it, Jermell is pretty much the same size as Jermall, I mean they're identical TWINS. It's just Jermell can cut weight better because he's leaner and trimmer, less body fat. But we all know he's been outgrowing 154 for years and is essentially a Middleweight. They are identical twins, so the he's much smaller than Jermall argument doesn't work here, especially since he has a significant height and reach advantage over Canelo. This is a great fight, and I'm thrilled about it.

Let me get this straight! Jermell is ducking Tszyu to fight a bigger and better fighter whose two weight classes up? Make it make sense! SMH When you duck someone, it's to fight a lesser threat! So you are saying Tszyu is a better and more dangerous than Canelo?

I'm already on that. Notice how they screwed up and announced Clenelo vs Jermallo (his actual opponent) when news broke of Clenelo signing that three-fight deal with PBC. Dumbasses put their foot in it and completely vindicated me and all the accusations I leveled at them about pulling the switcheroo

Serge proven right yet again :risas3:

LOL and if he fought Jermall you'd say the same thing. Face it, you'd be crying no matter which Charlo he fought. The fact is both Charlos are dangerous (but Jermell is more dangerous) and it's the biggest money fight out there.

If it was at 160 then it would be fine but at 168 charlo will be slow and tire easily he hasn't gotten used to fighting at 168 let alone 160. Any speed or stamina advantage he might have had will go out the window at 168. I think there are better options out there for both men.

Who is the tougher more motivated opponent? Jermell or Jermall? Canelo is seeking out the better, more accomplished, more motivated, more explosive, more dangerous Charlo. Jermell Charlo has a 2½ inch reach advantage, and 3 inch height advantage over Canelo.

Not only that, but we saw how highly skilled Jermell was in the Castaño rematch. We saw how good of a boxer he is. This is going to be a very difficult test for Canelo. We know fans will be crying about it for the next 3 months, but it doesn't matter, it doesn't change how big of a fight this or how big of a challenge this is for Canelo. This is the Charlo I've always wanted to see him fight, and I couldn't be happier.

Well then he should weight in the low 160s to retain his speed. It makes sense for this to happen now. Which Charlo would you rather Canelo fight? People were complaining about Mall's inactivity, so naturally Mell makes more sense. And it's Undisputed vs Undisputed.
