Charlo is cashing out stop trying to play dumb he knows as well as all of us he has no chance against Canelo this is the severance package Al Haymon promised him.

Sure it does. Jermell is 33 years old. Benavidez is 26. Why should Canelo fight an unproven up and coming prospect over an Undisputed Champion? Benavidez should be fighting Morrell who's been calling him out. Winner of that fights the winner of Canelo Jermell. Simple.

Young up and coming prospects like Benavidez need to prove themselves vs other undefeated prospects like Morrell. Jermell has done more in the sport than Benavidez and Morrell combined. He deserves the shot more, and to say he's too small is laughable. He's essentially a Middleweight with size, speed and skill advantages over Canelo. This is going to be a great fight.

 

That’s the exact narrative he is selling he would rather get beaten by Canelo than lose his belts to Tszyu.

 

Undisputed vs Undisputed is happening. It's an opportunity for Charlo, not a sacrifice. If he loses, he's still Undisputed. It's Canelo's who's taking the bigger risk, he's the only putting his Undisputed on the line.

 

Well if he loses to Canelo, he could still go back down to fight Tim if he can make the weight. But if he beats Canelo then he'd proabably drop the 154 Undisputed. Jermell has a chance to be DOUBLE Undisputed here. And a huge peydey win lose or draw. He can't pass up this opportunity.

 

How is Benevidez an up and coming prospect, he's a 2x WBC super middleweight champion who is Canelos Mandatory challenger. Jermell Charlo is Undisputed at 154 pounds how does this fight make sense? It's a terrible fight and Canelo gets nothing out of it, it's a gimmick.

 

Undisputed vs Undisputed is history. When has the Undisputed LMW Champ ever fought the Undisputed SMW Champ? Benavidez is the interim WBC Champ. But Benavidez is UNRANKED in the WBA, WBO and IBF rankings. He's only the mandatory for the WBC. Jermell Charlo is 7 years older than Benavidez. He's more established and a bigger name than Benavidez. You don't sound like you're giving Jermell much of a chance. I disagree, Jermell is a very dangerous opponent, this will not be an easy fight for Canelo.

 

And when Canelo beats Jermell now it takes the shine off of a potential fight with Tyszu because we don't know how Charlo going to come out of that fight. What if Canelo knocks him out cold?
