When has it ever made sense that the Undisputed JMW champion fight the Undisputed SMW champion? It doesn't, might as well bring up the winner of Spence-Crawford to fight Canelo next in an Undisputed vs Undisputed gimmick match too.

Andrade should fight Jermall. Jermell makes more sense against Canelo because he's Undisputed and it's a history making opportunity for Jermell to become DOUBLE Undisputed. It's also history making for Canelo to defend his Undisputed vs another Undisputed Champ. Undisputed vs Undisputed is massive. They should do it in Texas.

Ask yourself this - which Charlo would you rather see Canelo fight? You said NEITHER but if you had to choose. Jermell makes more sense right now. And, it's the BIGGEST fight out there. Jermell is a bigger draw especially in Texas than Benavidez. Think about the PPV numbers. Canelo vs Benavidez is not as big as Canelo vs Jermell Charlo.

LOL no Spence Crawford is much smaller than Jermell Charlo. Jermell Charlo is essentially a Middleweight who's been fighting at 154 because he can cut weight like Canelo used to before he moved up to MW. When Canelo was fighting at 154, people were saying he's too big for that weight class he should be fighting at MW, etc. That's the same situation Jermell is in, so it's not a big jump up to 168. Jermell probably walks around in the mid 160s.

Not sure if it's the low IQ or just him playing extra dumb this time. But you don't need to be MENSA to see that this is the case. It's a Win/Win for Charlo. Huge payday and if lightning strikes he's one of the biggest names in boxing with huge future paydays guaranteed. If he loses he still has all the belts down at 154(he shouldn't about time the clown is stripped there) and the Tszyu fight is likely still on the table. If he fought Tszyu and lost that fight or anything else above 154 of substance is completely off the table.

Charlo hasn't even fought above 154, Canelo has been adjusted to the higher weight classes for years and is now a full fledged 168 pounder. This is ridiculous on Canelos part and I can't defend it.

It's the biggest fight out there for Canelo. And Jermell is arguably the most difficult fighter stylistically he could fight. Benavidez has more of a size advantage, but he's not as skilled, as explosive or as seasoned as Jermell. It will be very easy for Jermell to move up and fight Canelo. He's been killing himself to make 154. Mell now is where Canelo was 7 years ago when he could barely make 154, like when he fought Liam Smith at 154. When peop[le were saying Canelo is too big for 154, he finally moved up and fought GGG at 160 then not too long after that he moved up to 168. Jermell is in a similar situation that Canelo was when he was outgrowing 154. Just waiting for the right opportunity to move up. Jermell could easily fight at Middleweight like his Bro. The main reason why he's stayed at 154 is because he didn't want to compete in the same division as his bro so he wouldn't become his bro's mandatory, because he would never fight his twin.

I know how dangerous and skilled Jermell is. And anyone who knows anything about boxing knows it's way bigger than Benavidez.

Jermell can easily fight at 168, he's bigger than Canelo and as big as his brother and Boo Boo.

Only reason he has not moved up is, as he puts it " I Don’t Wanna Move Up To 160 Because That Contradicts My Brother".

Some here were so excited at the possibility of Spence being included in the 3-fight Canelo contract even though he's much smaller than the Charlos.

The optics do look bad for Canelo but come fight night he'll probably the smaller guy in the ring.

He's taller, but Canelo is the bigger guy and Charlo will feel the difference in strength and power because he doesn't belong in that division.

Yes he will be smaller. Jermell will tower over him and will be able to out jab Canelo due to his significantly longer reach. And not only does Jermell have size and reach advantages, but he has great footwork, which he showed against Castaño, he's elusive, he's a great counter puncher and he has a hell of a chin. This is a very difficult fight for Canelo. People who are hating on this fight DKSAB, this is the best and biggest fight that could possibly be made right now. Very evenly matched and a fantastic blend of styles. You'll see.
