So Jermell is looking at 2 potentially brutal KO's and probably like - If I'm gonna get KO'd I might as well get paid in this ma'facka.

It's a great fight. he's not ducking anyone. Everyone wants to fight Canelo and fans wanted to see him fight either Charlo for a lot longer than they've wanted to see him fight Benavidez. And Jermell Charlo has been specifically calling him out talking about Undisputed vs Undisputed. That's historic. What kind of history does Benavidez give Canelo? He's just a young prospect challenging for his title. Charlo is 33 years old, a seasoned veteran in the sport who has collected all the belts at LMW, Canelo's old division. Canelo respects that, Canelo doesn't respect Benavidez, who's done nothing to deserve a shot at Undisputed. All Benavidez deserves is a shot at the WBC. To Fight for Undisputed he needs to do more like beat Morrell.

 

Bivol ducking Canelo as well. Everybody's ducking everybody lol. But the difference is Canelo is more active than all of these guys and has an ATG resume. None of these guys have proven themselves like Canelo has. But Charlo has done something that Benavidez, Morrell, or Bivol hasn't done, he's cleaned out a division and become Undisputed. And he captured those titles by devastating KOs. That's impressive. Jermell Charlo has earned this opportunity. He's done more in the sport than Benavidez, and he matches up very well with Canelo physically and stylistically. It's a great fight on paper and it will be exciting. Fans have wanted to see Canelo fight one of the Charlos for a very long time and this is the perfect time for it to happen.
