Strip Usyk and strip Fury. That all titles be vacant; no one is a champion. So fans would watch top fights. I don't see any other solution.

    I agree .

I guess no fighter in history ever admitted "i ducked" . So this is all based on some kind of more or lesss accurate speculation .

There is no and never will be a proof usyk ducked wilder , the same as there will never be a proof fury ducked usyk or aj ducked wilder when you see it this way.

    Facts are :

-usyk delayed the mandatory fight with dubois for months but agreed immediately when wba announced wilder will be next to face if he does not agree with dubois
    - usyk preferred a low cash / low reputation dubois fight instead of a high cash/ high reputaion fight with wilder - and no belt strip risk for him after wba cleared the way for wilder vs usyk.

Is this a proof for a duck ? No
    Is this smelling ? Yes

That’s not what’s happened at all.

    Your post contains no context.

Initially, the fight was shelved to try and face Fury.

Dubois was then unavailable due to injury, so the fight had to be pushed back further.

I believe the fight is imminent though.

    When has Usky avoided anybody?

Wilder has also looked at many options, where his team said that they’d be interested in Usyk, IF the fight with Dubois didn’t take place for whatever reason.

@Loudon : do you find it not a bit strange that all the problens , injuries etc with dubois dissapeared suddenly when wba oredered usyk to fight wilder instead ? After this usyk agreed with dubois without any further delay when he had all cards in his hand to close a deal for a high $$$ wilder fight.

I do not believe dubois had anything to say at this point.

On the other point you are correct - the initial phase was slowed by a fury vs usyk scenario.

I get your valid points but please consider it also the other way . Usyk has yet to prove he is willing to face everybody in hw.

That's great and all but them belts just filter to the next highest bidders....which means AJ & Wilder - The two men Usyk & Fury slapped up to be in this position. When Zhang beats Joyce again he is the #1 contender for any free belts.

To be honest, 30% is fair. Usyk is a nobody in terms of popularity. What is it with these fighters like Bivol and Usyk who can't draw flies thinking they can go around demanding. You can't demand **** unless you draw. Oh, you are champion? Means nothing when it comes to money. Usyk isn't even the champion, he's a title holder.

Has something happened over the fight date? I took a break from following boxing events recently, so I'm a bit confused by this thread, here what a quick Google found:

Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk deadline passes with Daniel Dubois fight to be ordered (Mar 10)

Tyson Fury unification fight with Oleksandr Usyk off as negotiations end (Mar 22)

WBA orders Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois negotiations, gives May 2nd deadline (April 3)

WBA Orders Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois To Purse Bid (May 15)

Oleksandr Usyk’s team win Daniel Dubois purse bids with huge $8million bid and plan to stage fight in Poland (May 22)

OLEKSANDR USYK'S mandatory clash with Daniel Dubois is set to take place on August 12, it has been announced. (May 25)

Oleksandr Usyk-Daniel Dubois moved to August 26 (Jun 2)

    Is there something I've missed?

The Charlo clowns be stripped for inactivity before anyone else. Two clowns holding up two divisions for the better part of 2 years.

By that I mean he demanded a rematch clause and was first to pull out of negotiations when Warren and Fury were still trying to make it. Reality is he never intended on having the fight without big Saudi money.

My understanding was Team Fury inserted the rematch clause. Fury then says let's remove the rematch clause. But Frank says the rematch clause stays in. Then Team Fury start messing about making yet more foolish demands on the splits.

As an outsider, it looks very much like Fury is not onboard with making any dangerous fight unless he had an edge. He knows he couldn't crack Usyk with mind games/banter, so he tried to mess with a man's time and money. Then throw in, Sugar Hill Steward let's slip that he hadn't been training Fury...and Fury's dad getting angry at SH for not lying on Fury's behalf.

So, it basically turned into another Fury soap opera (he has history for delaying and cancelling fights going back to at least McDermott 2, and includes a previous cancelled fight involving Krassyuk)

At which point Usyk walks away and ends camp, with Fury and Warren claiming they are/were still trying to make the fight - which in itself is pretty facile given their antics.

We should remember Usyk had been in camp for quite some time for undisputed (Fury had barely even started), away from his family, with the background of his country being at war. He stayed in camp throughout the never ending Wembley negotiations. That doesn't sound like something any sane person would do if they never intended on fighting without Saudi money. Of course maybe this is all 4D chess by team Usyk, but I doubt it.

Regarding this Saudi money, though, why is Fury not up for it against Usyk, but was excited by the idea of a mega-Saudi fight against Joshua? Usyk, Joshua, and Wilder have all been on record speaking positively about fighting in December. But, again, not Fury
