He'd beat anyone in both divisions yes the Welterweight division does have some tough fighters Spence, Crawford Ennis, Ortiz Jr, but i don't see why Hearns shouldn't be favoured over them. The Middleweight division right now is a bit of a wasteland apart from an old Golovkin is there really any stand out fighters ?
Hearns would dominate from welterweight to Lt . Heavyweight. Imagine how much weight gain a man like Hearns could put on with day before weigh-ins? Plus the lack of skills demonstrated by most of these " world champs" today who could actually match- up with him on a pure skills level? And I'm not even considering his physicality advantages he'd have over most of them. No one is the correct answer..... But today's boxers would beat Hearns in one area. Talking **** in social media. They wouldn't dream of actually getting in the ring against him. Making a ton of money in boxing today against weak competition is much easier in this era. They can avoid tough competition and still make millions. Why would they face someone like Hearns today if he existed?
Well he didn't do bad at middle really but at times of course he was a bit vulnerable, above light middle. But yes at welter he's alway s gonna kick ass.
