    Our present so called champeen is 6-9 with a 85 reach. His next rival is 6-3 with a 78 reach who are a complete considered a midget by modern standards. Joe is 6-4 with a 82 reach. Rocky is a bygone era. One that cannot be brought back. Leave the man’s legacy alone. He does not compete in the heavyweight division post Patterson.

    He didn't have the fire for it in his belly.
    I've yet to see many think Bugner could actually beat rocky.
    Go the distance maybe..

    Joe Bugner might have been trigger shy after one of his opponents died of brain injuries shortly after a fight.

    Joe Bugner is a quality boxer, and IMO he would be able to last 15 rounds. He lost in 1973 to Ali and Frazier on points.

    I merely was comparing like for like age wise, (age Bugner beat Cooper) and stand by my view that both meeting at age 21, then Rocky loses.

    Yes easy go the distance, and big enough to outbox Rocky, had a great fight with Frazier, I would take Frazier to beat Marciano
