You think Wilder KOs every heavy in history? Does that make nearer to prime Stiverne the third best ever.

I’d favor Wilder, but Usyk is the better boxer, just not sure he could avoid getting his lights turned out.

I also strongly assume usyk would hit the canvas hard against wilder. I also assume he is pretty aware of this fact and so he avoids wilder .

To tire Usyk out and cause leaks in his defense you need work rate delivered by good boxing skills. Usyk would be sharp the whole bout and hurt Wilder multiple times. Usyk wins 9/10 times. People are forgetting that Usyk has an iron chin and can absorb a few Wilder right hands. The guy hasn't been down amateur or pro except to a body shot.

Usyk would win every second of every round…

…until he gets caught flush by a Wilder right hand and fails to recover.

    I'm gonna say Usyk.

Wilder undoubtedly has incredible power and would very likely be the hardest puncher Usyk has faced, so the risk of a KO is as real for Usyk as it is for anyone stepping into the ring with Wilder. I just think it would take more than one big punch every now and then to make Usyk hit the canvas, let alone keep him there. Remember, prime Wilder went the distance with Stiverne, took 9 rounds to put Szpilka down and didn't actually manage to floor Duhaupas in 11 rounds, so it's not like a single punch is enough all the time. The whole "they have to be perfect for 12 rounds while I only have to be for one second" is true, but only for a certain level of fighter, one that Usyk is well above now, let alone in his prime. I'm not saying Wilder wouldn't land something once in awhile, of course he would, it's boxing, it happens.

If those above guys can manage to avoid it for as long as they did though, and weather through what they couldn't til very near the end, I'd say a guy who's never been down from headshots and has remarkable footwork can probably avoid it enough to make it the distance. Fury at his absolute worst showed it's doable. He only got put down when he got careless a few too many times, something I don't see Usyk doing, and he managed to get back up, which again shows that Wilder's power landing isn't necessarily a guaranteed KO.

But hey, you never know for sure til they get in the ring. I'd love to see these guys face off one day so we can see it for ourselves. They may be a fair bit removed from their primes by the time it happens, but it'll still be a hell of a fight.

Usyk isn’t glass jawed fury who was down more times than amir khan . Wilder would be punching air for 12 rounds.

Usyk would beat him and it wouldn't be close.

Wilder has a straight right hand and that is it. If he had more punch arsenal, I might give him a better chance but he doesn't. He doesn't throw hooks or uppercuts. Unless he blitzs Usyk in the first two rounds, Usyk would figure it out and it would either be a schooling or a stoppage for Usyk, mid-to-late rounds. It's an easier fight than AJ IMO. At least AJ throws more than one punch.

You can't be a one-trick pony and beat Usyk, he's too smart for it.

Wilder will have to land far more than 1 punch to knock Usyk out. As evidence by all his past fights.

Who cares what you are saying, you are a fan of glass jawed fury, so you like any other fury fan trying to convince the world wilder is the hardest puncher ever and no man except the duck can defeat him.

lol so far the boards Wilder fans aren't even voting for Wilder, it's 90% the Fury fans.

Pre prime Wilder was getting beat up and sparked out in gym sessions with Klitschko. Usyk was getting kicked out for putting it on Wlad.

Prime Wilder was getting outboxed by C level fighters. Needed referee interference to get past B-level Oldtiz. And couldn't stop A-level Fury when he was a shell of his former self over 12 rounds.

Usyk isn't going to gas like Ortiz and Fury did. He gets stronger down the stretch.

Usyk gets hit yes, but one of his strengths is how he rides the punches. He has been in with big punchers like Gassiev and Joshua (who don't rely on a telegraphed hail Mary). He isn't going to just be static Infront of Wilder and he doesn't have a paper mache chin like Spilzka.

Wilder as always has his "punchers chance".
