Crawford - Spence might come down to who has the best chin

Switch hitting is not an advantage for Bud over EJ. In fact it will contribute to his defeat.

 

Crawford has never faced close to the adversity he is about to face.

 

He`s a good fighter and Spence doesn`t have that much power.

 

Why?

 

Neither has Spence, Bud is far better than anybody he has faced.

 

That may work against lesser fighters not EJ. He could get hurt on the switch. His best bet is to fight southpaw though EJ is the better south paw.

 

Difference is Spence has overcome adversity and resistance whereas Bud hot faced either.

 

I get your terminology about urination type fighter now. However I will point out that Spence is much more than a pressure fighter. He is a technically savvy boxer with great intensity and excellent fundamentals. I think if we do a deeper dive in analysis we won’t miss the key lesson of the Ugas fight. Spence took a full on shot on the button when he was not looking or defending himself. His reactions in that same round and thereafter tells us what we need to know about EJ. He has a great chin, Will and desire.

 

How do you figure that? Spence has a higher KO rate than Egidijus and against way better opposition. As a matter of fact, Errol KO% > TC so I have no idea what you are even talking about. Spence isn't a one hit KO fighter but he gives life altering beatings.

 

Bud has a better KO rate at welter and Spence is a big welter who couldn`t stop Mikey G. Who was a light-welter.

 

So you just want to cherry pick info now? Crawford couldn't stop Beltran ffs who had already been stopped multiple times. Took him NINE to get a chinny featherweight out of there. See, I can do it too.
His KO victims aside from Porter isn't exactly a list of iron chinned warriors either.
I am not saying TC can't stop Erroll but you make it sound like this is gonna be easy work for him and TC will put him to sleep. TC of course can do that, I just don't think he will. Vegas is on your side though.

 

Kavaliauskas hits harder and is a much better counter-puncher than Spence.

Does anyone see Spence catching Crawford with a counter and hurting him with a single shot? Very unlikely.

 

A couple things: No way in hell does he hit harder than Spence and also, when Kavaliaskus hurt Crawford it wasn't a counter punch at all.

 

Crawford is much harder to tag than Errol from what Ive seen..he has a beautifull style of rolling with the shots and countering to devastating effect..If Errol cant tag tag hhim cleanly its gonna be a long night for him..cause Bud will get to him..he's faster with both hand and feet..unless he's gotten old overnight..either way I see this one going to the cards..even a Crawford stoppage being more likely..he hits hard enough.
