Lol his fanboys are super weird.

But to answer your question. I like Hearn because he's a big personality with a great sense of humour, and a excellent promoter who's done a lot for boxing.. Don't you see those points?

    Well said Jim

Hearn is a very good salesman that simply fleeces the public time and again in conjunction with a pile of bang average fighters.

That would be a cool gym to have a tour of when those 4 are training. Plus the other more aggressive Charlo having a row with himself in the corner lol.

AJ should destroy him, Whyte is essentially a club fighter. Joshua is far superior in every department.

I agree he did a good job on Sky, especially 2015-19ish - but I think his move to DAZN has shown Sky played a bigger part than we thought.

Just think he’s a slimeball. The fake tears when Patrick Day died but then trying to get fighters he knows have failed a test (Benn, Whyte) in the ring. Calling Canelo a drug cheat and saying his legacy is ruined then as soon as he has chance to promote him he’s running round in D&G pyjamas and calling him his mate.

He did a lot for British boxing in the last decade. Agree that his best days seem to be behind him.

Froch wasn’t bang average, nor was Brook or Degale. He’s also promoted Canelo. Bunch of average fighters is very harsh.

He has had a few successes with Froch one of his genuine fighters but the list below is an example of where the public are fleeced.

    Non elite/Mediocre:
    Dillian Whyte
    Anthony Joshua
    Derek Chisora
David Haye post Toe and leg amputation
    Tony Bellew
    James De Gale
    Kell Brook

    Utter Turd:
    David Allen
    Connor Benn
    Allen Babic
    David Price
    Johnny Bosh Fisher
    Connor Benn
    Ebanie Bridges
    Campbell Hatton
    Shannon Courtenay
    Terry Harper
    Sandy Ryan
    Pie Nicolson

All of these names have either headlined Hearn's Box Office events, appeared on the undercard or are the future names to polish a turd.

I can’t believe you forgot about Darren Barker mate. He was not top 5 at 160 even with his alphabet belt.

AJ is not mediocre. I get you don’t like him and I’m not a fan myself, but that’s just nonsense.

Degale was at the time rated #1 at 168lbs and add in his Olympic Gold he was not non elite at all. He was quality. Brook was also highly rated at welterweight (Hearn did a terrible job with him, he should have stayed with Warren). The agree the rest are poor.

He has promoted some good names over the pond - Roman Gonzalez, Estrada, Bam is very good, Mikey Garcia before he stupidly moved up 2 weights was pretty much elite and unbeaten in almost 40 fights, plus Canelo.

I thought you were trying to convince us he’s a bad promoter?

Not sure what’s wrong with watching the likes of Price or Allen on undercards, whilst neither are world beaters they both have given good value to undercards in the past, certainly a lot better than what you get with many rival promoters undercard fights.

Don’t mind seeing Nicholson in action either, gives me a quick chance to knock one out before the next fight starts.

Agree to differ about Joshua as the elite question was answered on 1 June 2019 and it will always be no for me after being battered by that fat little mess. An elite Heavyweight would also find a way to get Usyk on the canvas within 24 rounds and he barely tickled him.

De Gale for me did not fulfill his potential after being derailed by the Groves defeat although he did have a good career winning a World Title. That defeat to Traux was a shocker and he was a shell when he faced Charlatan Eubank Jnr. (Quote from his father on Talksport last month.)

Agree with Barker and he is even worse as a commentator boring the public in retirement.

Hearn is a very good salesman but asking boxing fans to fork out Box Office for two non elite fighters in Johsua v Whyte in a non title fight over the hill contest is all wrong.

You need to watch your between fight activities as I heard Hearn is considering a Premium Box Office fee for knocking one out watching one of his boxers.

Maybe you could balance it out by knocking one back in when watching Terry Harper.

Dave Allen would have headlined a Box Office event had he beat Price. Sensational.

I felt uncomfortable watching Price knowing he was always likely to fold even against crap like Chisora.

I agree that fight is never box office. I’m not sure I would watch it on normal DAZN either, it’s just not an interesting fight.
