I'm assuming he means Barrett. Don't blame him really, no one wants to see that fight. He's worked hard and built himself a real platform, deserves the big fights

 

Foster wants ridiculous money and the other two champions are fighting one another, so who's he going to fight. That being said Barrett is the wrong fight though, joke fight in my opinion.

 

Why is Zelfa a joke fight? I wouldn't be supris3d in the least if he turned Cordina over and I'm a big fan of both fighters. Barrets a good fighter

Theirs alot of hype around barrett and I just don't see it. Dodged good domestic fights sharp cacace. Got a gift against a true super bantum in kiko. He certainly doesn't deserve a 2nd World title shot. Did he justify a shot in the first place.

 

Because he got stopped 9 months ago in a title shot for the same belt Cordina owns against a guy that Cordina just beat. He hasn't done a thing to deserve it.

 

He did perform well against Rakhimov though even though he lost. I don’t mind Cordina Barrett as long as Cordina unifies or fights a world champion from another division afterwards.

 

Performed well means nothing when u get stopped imo . What's his best win a countenance win against an opponent 2 divisions below him.

Yes I understand why some may feel he doesn't deserve a shot. And your correct, Kiko run him very close but styles makes fights and I think Barrett gives Cordina a good fight and could beat him.

He was performing really well and as Maley has said it means nothing when you've lost. But in this case we have to give him more credit than that. He was fighting on an injury, can't remember if it was an achilles or a bad perforated eardrum or both but whatever it was we could all.see it was having an impact on zelfas performance.

 

You have a point with styles make fights, and although personally I don't see it happening their is always the possibility he gives Cordina a decent fight.

Let's not kid ourselves that Kiko pushed him close. Kiko schooled him throughout the entire fight, what happened that night was one of the most embarrassing 'home' decisions. Felt genuinely sorry for Kiko, a real professional who would of dedicated time & money to that camp In build up was robbed
