He has perfect balance. This guy is trully talented. I'm looking forward to see more of his boxing vs better oposition. I'm sure he will succeed.

Good skills but that beard tells me he is packing glass.

THIS. I forgot to mention it.

When you see that beard.... man... when you see THAT KIND OF BEARD...... you have to raise an eyebrow and wonder "why?". Never, NEVER a good sign. Most of the time those beards are there to hide 100% chinese porcelaine. A sad attempt to soften a little bit the oponent's punches trying to "make their gloves bigger" by letting your beard grow.

And I hope, I trully hope, that it is not like that, because I repeat that this man is trully talented. It's a pitty so much talent ruined by a china chin. I hope that beard means nothing in this case.

We'll have to see how this assessment ages. I personally do see a lot of skill from him as well as ring IQ.

Yeah time will, tell, maybe I am wrong, we'll know once he actually fights someone good. I see some skill, at least offensively, but I don't see much defensive nuance and he's not fought anyone that's tested him enough to require him to adjust and really show any versatility or ring IQ.

I need to see what he's like when pushed on the back foot. Right now he's always the one coming forward, can he fight going backwards, or at least be like Spence and learn to counter when taking short steps back, so he doesn't get walked through when he's eventually in with a fighter who doesn't back up. He's got so many question marks over his real ability right now.

Amir Khan was an Olympian and had much better resume than Ennis after similar amount of fights.

Ennis is getting plenty of hype for the skills he's shown so far, but he needs to show it against higher level of competition before we get too crazy.

Against his opposition yes he has done more than well, but i knew after a few opponents people were going to take it too far & they did just that up until his second to last fight where the noise came all the way down like it always does, either way he is doing great & will be hard to beat except for the top guys who he is calling for,

Ennis should take this time to be active by fighting as much as possible & developing his experience.

He's legit. Only going to find out if he's something like the best in his vicinity by him facing the best.

We need to bring Porter out of retirement for one last rodeo.

    Absolutely
    Its like watching Roy Jones
Or Mosley back in the day for me… knowing they were the only one’s capable of pulling off the kind of things that they pull off in the ring.

Impressed, but not overly. That was Boots best win on Saturday against someone who’s best win is Ellis. Boots made it harder than it should have been, if he was truly elite at this moment in time that fight should have been over within 6. Before anyone says Villa is good and Ellis is good, don’t. It doesn’t mean he won’t be elite, but as of right now he is B+

At the moment Ennis is only really passing people’s eyetest, which doesn’t count for much. Instead of chasing Spence & Crawford, he should be trying to fight Fitzgerald (Thurman) or Ugas. Then we shall see

Villa is much better than a C level fighter.
