During this period, Matt Skelton fought for the WBA Heavyweight Title and lost to Ruslan Chagaev in Germany on points.

Good effort from a man that starting boxing very late fighting an opponent who matched Haye's best win at Heavyweight against the giant Valuev.

Chagaev was probably the Heavyweight Division version of Tony Bellew during that period.

Wilder is overrated. History will not be kind to him.

The Wlad win has already aged like fruit. That is the single most boring win in that division in the last decade at that level. It's nearly a decade ago, and it's a tainted win due to Tyson failing a test, not giving a rematch, and then pulling the mental health card. You act like he battered Wlad from start to finish.

Fury can't deal with being "the man" let alone deal with a loss! I said he suffers from imposters syndrome. He has been nothing short of a nuisance since winning the strap.

Whoever it is they clearly have no social life. And they converse with their other alts! Really strange and sad behaviour.

Joshua beat Skelton Jim but he was an amazing 47 years of age at this stage.

The Glory days in the division were 10 years earlier when many of the Brits; Skelton, Williams, Sprott, Audrey, John McDermott and Martin Rogan would fight each other without demanding Box Office Loot like fighters of the same level Joshua, Chisora and Whyte.

I believe that was around the time that I packed my Sky subscription in. Just when all of that was coming to a close. Those were incredible times. What was so good about it was that they were mostly evenly matched and there was little fanfare. Also good commentary back then.

Jim's the real deal as far as I can tell pal, although honestly my alt radar is not on point. It makes zero sense to me why anyone would use an alt on an anonymous internet forum. Jim is consistent in his posting to me.
