He loves a moan about bigger promoters poaching his fighters, and losing money on shows.

 

I bet most promoters would though.

What a depressing *******

 

I used to think he deserved a chance with a tv deal for his hard work.

But now he just comes across as a moaning, bitter old guy. If he hates the murky side of boxing so much and is operating at a loss why does he even bother.

 

I think he has done well for alot of boxers and can understand some bitterness.
Some people on here are much more bitter than Steve Wood and they don't even know the boxers or promoter personally

 

Tbf to Steve, he does say that he's getting a bit grumpier with age.
Great small hall promoter and great manager for any fighters in this country. Done so much especially for North West boxing.
