What is he doing?! Does Tyson Fury want to be disliked/hated?? He is increasingly losing fans. Not long ago, people loved him, he was like the peoples champ

Funny, quick witted and a true great fighter, he could have continued to be extremely popular. All this calling people dossers/ugly/shithouses etc is so boring, repetitive and predictable. his personality is actually starting to become like his father. All this negotiations and not fighting anyone, wtf. Now it seems he just wants the biggest paydays for the smallest risks, how disapointing.

Also, it's really pathetic and comical how Frank Warren is defending what Fury is doing.

The way Frank passionately defends this farce is very impressive.

No nonsense Frank defending the biggest pile of nonsense in boxing.

Hope he tells us what he really thinks of Fury's antics one day. Probably when Fury dumps him for a better offer

The entire world will be talking about/watching this fight and it’s going to draw an obscene amount of money & interest. The relatively small amount of people who are annoyed with Fury is extremely insignificant, and frankly we will all be watching along anyway.

If he agrees to fight the winner of Usyk-Dubois, all will be forgotten either way.

How long will we have to wait for Fury v Usyk? Another 12 months? Being a boxing fan is so ****. I honestly think Fury is waiting for Usyk to age or get beat.

Fury's fans said something similar when he fought Chisora.

And he isn't fighting the winner of Usyk v Dubois. There is zero chance the IBF give this time waster another opportunity to make undisputed before Hrgovic gets his shot. Will the winner of Joyce v Zhang be willing to wait as well? I doubt it that very much either, as both men aren't getting any younger and it will be more lucrative to upset the apple cart - the window for undisputed has closed. So what's that? 2025? Better to take the stance that we ain't getting it. It's done. Dusted. Time to close the book.

Even the casuals on the football message boards are turning on Luke now. It isn't just the hardcore. Maybe we'll get undisputed next decade.

The guy he’s fighting is hardly Conor McGregor in name size

He was given a pass for the Chisora 3 fight. Then many months of being as difficult as possible in negotiations, and fake announcements and other bull****, then you announce a fight with a MMA guy! It's hard to keep making passes. Seems like he already has one foot out of the door for retirement and all he cares about is money. He clearly doesn't wanna fight Usyk.

There is not zero chance of anything, especially when big money is involved. The IBF are as strict as they come generally, but they are still a business. Hrgovic can probably be pursuaded to wait and Joyce-Zhang are not next in line anyway & are under Franks control. IF all parties want the fight, I wouldn’t be surprised if they announce soon that a deal is agreed subject to Usyk coming through.

With Fury signing this deal with the Saudis, the fight is a step closer IMO. The only thing which would get preferential treatment is Fury - AJ & I wouldn’t be surprised if that gets made first assuming he gets past Whyte.

Mate go and have a look at his social media posts. Just thousands and thousands of people slating him and calling him a joke, farce, embarrassing, pointless etc. It's really damaging for his legacy.

He needs to be cementing what he did against Wlad and Wilder, not undermining it.

He's ran out of road now, the talk isn't fooling anyone. He's not had a meaningful fight for 3 and a half years and it'll be over 4 years the next time he has the chance.

All it will take is one loss to put a serious dent in what he's achieved - that really shouldn't be the case.

I have never liked Fury but I've respected him and his achievements (even though they all have an asterisk beside them). Now I don't even respect him. Biggest wanker in Boxing and that's impressive.

I'm so glad you said that. I had zero idea who Ngannou was until he came up in discussion for Fury. Not an MMA fan but I clearly knew McGregor before his tussle with Mayweather, and knew of some WWE crossovers like Shamrock, Lesnar, Severn etc... nobody else though.

I’m more worried about Fury aging than Usyk. Fury has hardly lived the life over the years.

Do you think these same people commenting would be jumping for joy if Tyson announced he was fighting Frank Sanchez, Efe Ejagba or Agit Kabayel?

The very same people will all be watching this fight, no matter what there posting on social media, which is my main point.

Unless he retires, one of AJ or Usyk will most likely be next and any little noise now will long be forgotten. It’s really that simple, no matter what a few of us moan about on here - its a very small echo chamber.

Wait till you see the socials when Fury & Nganou have there kick off pressers - it will be viral content and will sweep aside any negativity, no matter how much it maybe valid.
