But again your logic don't make sense why would Wladimir fight Haye instead of Chisora ? When Haye was seen as the bigger threat with KO power ? Which surely would be a no-no for Wladimir who has suspect durability ? As I said surely avoiding Haye would make more logical sense ? Rather than Chisora who was a domestic level fighter who had done nothing on the world stage. I mean theres been plenty of fighters who have pulled out of fights for numerous reasons, Calzaghe pulled out vs Johnson 3 times doesn't mean they all were scared that they would lose. As for Brewster ? Purrity ? I don't see how these are relevant to the discussion ? And in actual fact Brewster proved he was better than Chisora anyway. But regardless Wladimir fought and beat better opposition than Chisora after those losses so I don't understand the point your making ? Why would Wladimir be intimidated by a guy with a handful of fights only at domestic level ? But then fight a world class fighter in Haye who had genuine KO power ? Don't make sense. I'm not a fan of Wladimir at all but this makes no logical sense, if Wladimir would of fought Chisora instead of Haye. It would've been seen as a duck and Chisora would've been seen as a cherry pick.
Ok. You've convinced me. The best guy on Fury's resume would've lost in his prime to borderline-journeyman Chisora.
Wlad on paper beats him every day of the week The big point here is he didn't have the NUTS, BALLS OR CONFIDENCE to fight him. COWARDICE is not a word to be thrown around lightly in boxing. It would be like Fury not fighting Usyk.
Not even comparable Chisora only had handful of fights at domestic level, and his best win was a shot Danny Williams. Not to mention Chisora wasn't even ranked in the top 10. Wladimir instead fought the number 2 ranked Heavyweight Haye, who was considered a bigger threat and also held a title. Compared to Fury not fighting the clear number 2 Heavyweight, and instead fought Chisora for a 3rd time and is now fighting an MMA fighter ? Yeah definitely comparable.... Not.
Manny Steward was intimidated by Chisora when he turned up at the presser showing no fear of Klitschko. Hence why he said an undefeated fighter was more dangerous than the guys wlad had been fighting. Btw, Wlad didn't cancel to fight Haye. He rescheduled Chisora because Haye was fighting Harrison. Wlad pulled out one day before the fight and didn't face Hsye till almost a year later.. These are just the facts
Wlad was scared by his lack of chin and poor stamina. He fought scared, one dimensional. No inside ability. Jab and grab. Nothing else. Never threw a body punch in his life. Which is why Fury dominated him. No super champion gets dominated like that...and he tried to cheat with a heavily padded canvas to slow Fury down. Fury destroyed him in a Sauna and that's all Steward needed to see to know Fury had his number
Dino you know me I do not like Wladimir at all, I would never rewatch any of his fights hes not my cup of tea. But surely Haye was seen as a bigger threat ? He was ranked high and had power which as I said surely would be more be more of a logical reason to avoid Haye rather than Chisora ? As I said none of us truly knows what went on behind scenes, but I have hard time believing that Wladimir would be worried by a plodder like Chisora who only had handful fights at domestic level. In the end as I said with hindsight it's all moot point as Chisora never become anything more than a fringe contender, and the fact Haye splattered Chisora in just 5 rounds puts it all into perspective for me.
If course Haye was the bigger and better fight. I never said it wasn't.. I followed this closey at the time so I'm recounting the time line as it happened. Like I just told you, wlad didn't pull out to fight Haye because Haye was fighting Harrison. Google will tell you the same. He pulled out not because he'd lose, but because he didn't want the hastle of looking bad against a 14-0 nobody
But you Tysonettes were claiming Usyk would get no more than 1-2m. for fighting Dubois. And let's see how your hero will get for fighting an MMA guy, and how his reputation is shattered. And most importantly how much he will get in his next fight, as he will try to fight some bum again. It's going to be curious, cause the boxing fan won't pay for anything with Fury name over. That's why he is fighting an MMA guy, trying to ride the casual MMA fans. As far as Usyk goes, so your changing your version now ? But it was Fury that declined the rematch, then he declined the 50-50 split with no rematch, he also declined 60m. from the Saudi, he also declined a fair split on the rematch clauses. So what should Usyk have done, waste his career even more, like he didn't lose a good 6-7 months already over this fraud? Everyone would move on. But explain us, why is everyone claiming Fury is the duck ? And everyone is laughing at him and Fury fans ? Explain us why is Fury having a rematch, when he was supposedly didn't want rematch ? Aka i will do everything and spin everything so i can get away from fighting Usyk. Clear as day, keep defending him, and ruining your own integrity, and showing the brain power you posses. Good night buddy.
Right. Wlad didn't have an agreement with Haye when he announced the Chisora fight in October 2010. Wlad didn't have a fight with Haye scheduled when he called off the fight with four days to go in December 2010 to go to Florida and play golf. Wlad didn't have an agreement with Haye in January 2011 when he got busted in the media and agreed to reschedule the Chisora fight for April 2011. Both times he called off the Chisora fight were when the camps were over (first time) or nearly over (second time). Wlad signed to fight Chisora TWICE and swerved twice at the last minute twice.
Yeah cause Klitschko and Haye wasn't in talking since 2010, after Haye beat Ruiz and constantly calling on Klitschko. Yeah Unification fight is set and made in just 2 months, right. Some people puling mental gymnastics. And they still don't explain the "fake" injury and the reason for an absence of the ring. Anyway educate yourself buddy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wladimir_Klitschko_vs._David_Haye Haye and Klitschko were in talks since 2008, but nice try. And you still didn't answer why Deontey Wilder ducked Klitschko, and do you label this as a duck or not.
It is moot because Wlad got away with it and most people today don't even remember it happened. But, again, the fact that Haye beat Chisora in 2012 doesn't have any bearing on Wlad backing out of fights with Chisora ... in 2010 AND 2011. (It may be easier for people to ignore it, but it doesn't make it right.) If Wilder ends up fighting Usyk next year and knocking him out, will everyone screaming that Fury ducked Usyk this year say, "Well, I guess Fury didn't duck him, because Wilder beat Usyk. And Fury did beat Wilder." I'm guessing most won't. They'll look at the Fury-Usyk situation and how it unfolded this year on its own. Fury's poor choices and behavior when it comes to Usyk won't be seen as "correct" if someone Fury beat knocks off Usyk ... just like Wlad's shouldn't with regard to Chisora. Wlad screwed Chisora over TWICE and held up his career for the better part of a year. Chisora didn't hold it against Haye. (They even became partners later.) He held it against Wlad, because Wlad's the one who agreed to fight him and backed out twice.
Yep Usyk, who is Unified Champion, and Fury is ducking Undisputed Champion, and Fury is ducking Usyk to fighting MMA guy is the same as Klitschko supposedly "ducking" Chisora to Unify the division against the best fighter at that time - Haye, something your hero never tries to do. This is some great thoughts right there. And Chisora was not even mandatory, he was a voluntary. Simple question, which is the bigger, better fight: Chisora or Haye who is a Champion ? And Chisora was 26 back then, when he fought Haye he was 28. He had 4 loses in his 5 fights, before him being even 30 years old. Great comparison with Usyk, who is going to be 37 in few months.
I wrote a whole post to you on it. Not only are you totally uninformed on this topic, you don't read. So I'm not going to write more hoping you'll read that. I'm going to put you on ignore, and you put me back on ignore, because I get the impression you make snap decisions without knowing the facts (at all). And then just start insulting people when it understandably goes sideways for you and start yelling WILDER. WILDER. It's lazy. Bye.
Well it's a bit different Usyk is one of the best P4P fighters in the sport and is rated by most as number 2 Heavyweight. So Fury not fighting him to fight a non boxer and Chisora 3 times is alot worse. Chisora was not ranked in top 10 his only feats were at domestic level beating shot Danny Williams. In the end it's all irrelevant a win over Chisora does nothing for Wladimir's resume. And even with hindsight a win over Chisora does nothing for his resume either. Haye was the better opponent and in the end it all worked itself. If you go through history plenty of fighters have pulled out of fights, I'm not denying Wladimir didn't pull out of a Chisora fight. I'm just saying context of it IMO is not that Wladimir was worried at all about losing to Chisora.
