So I had an email at work a little while ago, offering hospitality for Joshua-Whyte with the following "benefits" on top of the food and drink:

    > Pre-fight Q & A with Tony Bellew
    > Group photograph opportunity with Tony Bellew
    > Post-fight analysis from Spencer Oliver & Andy Clarke

Wonder how much side money is made at events like this for people who do the media and how much they charge for it - the Bellew Q&A is at opening time, and that's 4:30. Free booze all through. Think it's at least £500 a head, maybe £1000. I'll report back...

I wouldn’t go to a meet and greet with Bellew if you paid me the cost of it.

Don’t Matchroom do a thing now where they fire t-shirts signed by Hearn into the crowd

Only one is signed. If you get that one, you and a guest get to watch the main event from ringside.

Two very good undercard additions in my opinion. Can't complain with Fisher's opponent. Remember Harry Armstrong was scheduled to fight Fraser Clarke before he was allegedly going to fight Wardley but Boxxer switched the opponents. Armstrong also lost to Jeamie TKV 77-75 in a close fight last time out. Good to see Fisher going the traditional route for the Southern Area title.

I'm actually very interested in this. I've been to see Jason Fox and Billy Billingham both on their live tours and the stories from their time in the SAS/SBS are fascinating and captivating, so being able to ask Bellew about that time he drove over a pothole with his kids in the car and 'somebody could have died would be a dream come true.

Any updates on if Chisora is on this card?

Regardless of standard or age I’d much rather watch an undercard full of heavies than female fights so the more the merrier.

Chisora will definitely be on the card. However I assume the opponent won’t be great. That’s 4 fights on the main card leaving one more. Hearn said Wardley wants a run-out before facing Adeleye so could be him. But Ebanie Bridges is also apparently locked in to fight on the card so I’m not sure.

Surely only one of Bridges and Wardley will be on the bill. Otherwise Fisher would be on Before the Bell which I don’t see happening as why is in such a tough fight then ? My guess is that Bridges will fight on another date, maybe the Wood Warrington card.

Come on now Fisher is not in a tough fight. He wouldn't be fighting him if he was.

I meant tough as in compared to his other professional contests. Armstrong lost 77-75 to Jeanie TKV - a close fight. Fisher Armstrong is scheduled for 10. We all know Fisher isn’t amazing and Armstrong actually has reasonable notice to prepare for the fight.

It’s probably the easiest opponent they could get for Fisher though in a Title fight. I worry for Fisher to be honest because after beating Armstrong there’s no turning back down the levels. He’s very young and inexperienced. He’s kind of been forced to rush a little because he sells a lot of tickets so he doesn’t lose his fanbase and Hearn can justify putting Fisher as chief support so his thousands of fans don’t leave halfway through the main card.

I'll give you the first paragraph but not the second haha.

Harry Armstrong is not a huge step up haha and it's Fisher's 10th pro fight and will have been a pro for over 2 years now lol. He would have faced tougher in sparring.

I don't really care about how slowly he's getting bought along and its obvious as to why, but please don't try and convince us that Harry Armstrong is a huge step up when he really isn't haha.
