That was my thought too with regards to Bridges.

I hope Hearn fills out the 5 fight main card with Chisora and Wardley in fights. I think a full heavyweight card would go down really well.

Did he not plan this once in the middle of an IFL interview, "Land of the Giants" or something like that...

I will actually buy the PPV if it’s all heavyweights. I’m a simple man. I know what I like.

Nearly on the same page as I will watch if it is all heavyweights.

Trip to local bar where the owner is happy to fork out another £27 for this event.

I'd always watch a HW stacked card fight, I think most people would. I am saying this watching the opening fight a woman's 8 rounder on tje Kelly card, it must be just to appear woke or save £, it is soooo rubbish

Spoke earlier today with a person who wants to buy Joshua vs Whyte II on DAZN UK PPV but the person is not already a DAZN customer so the real price will be £47 or am I wrong ?

    I think that’s true.

If not there’s no point subscribing if all the best fights are PPV and can just be bought for a one off 27 quid rather than signing yourself up for a year.

Saw Frank Smith saying this does a million buys. Never in a million years. It wouldn’t get close to a million on Sky never mind DAZN.

Slight step up for Johnny Fisher. Let's see how that goes.

    This fight is terrible.

Whyteleafe: one KO in his last six against shot to pieces old Alec povetkin

Joshua: one KO in his last six against shot to pieces old kubrat pulev

Both guys coming off clear losses to the top guys (Joshua’s against a feather fisted midget) then some comeback fight against the same absolute BUM who they both struggled with.

    twelve round domestic level borefest

We'll see. I'm inclined to agree with you - but given this will be on the Sky platform, AJ's marketing machine will kick in, and no doubt the likes of the BBC will give it plenty promotion - it'll certainly do well.

A million seems a proper stretch though.

I reckon it’d do 500k on Sky these days. 27 quid in a cost of living crisis, Joshua and Whyte past their best, the main attraction having 3 defeats in 4 years and then there’s Joshua’s popularity taking a hit after the BLM speech and the Usyk tantrum.

Factor in this fight being on a niche subscription service, not having the usual Sky push and costing 47 quid to non-subscribers. Apparently Joshua v Franklin did 170k views. I know this is a bigger fight but you’re asking people to pay 27 quid on top compared to that.
