They chose Burgos to make a statement, didn't quite work out that way but he dominated easily.
Burgos might have been a better 2nd or 3rd opponent to get the rounds under his belt.

Might need to look at dropping down a divvy or bulking up and cutting down some.
He isn't going to convert from that point scoring style straight away but I don't think power is best attribute.

    10-0 Cruz

Dunno know why everyone is being quite so hyper critical, he did fine - its his debut for chrissakes.

LOL the hate in here vs Cruz is palpable, almost sexual in nature. I've never hear of him before tonight, but he just defeated a 3 time title challenger who had never been knocked out. Burgos was a tougher opponent than Tyson Furys last opponent and was better than his NEXT opponent....HW champ fighting a guy in his pro debut. Sad.

Ah, wanted to score some points in an ongoing internet argument against an ill defined set of essentially ideological enemies whom you disagree with on everything, I see. Fair enough I guess - that's usually the reason I'm unreasonably harsh too.
Though I tend to wait till a guy has actually started his career before before taking an implacable position on him from which to bitterly argue until the end of time.

Did Alycia fix her stamina issue? Is she going to look for one big show? Will she get overwhelmed in the later rounds?

I hope so too, but her opponent is tough and Alycia is only dangerous early in the fight, if she don't get her outta there probably a decision.

I’ll be glad when corny entrances are a thing of the past.

Hearn has a very obvious tell when he is bullshitting.

    He is talking.

Baum looking great in the first round like she usually does - can she sustain it?
