Listening to Joshua the last few days questioning himself about what he has left in the tank, his hunger, desire etc.

This is no genuine champion looking to blast his way back to World Titles.

Did not realise how done he is mentally which explains the very soft fights against Franklin and Journeyman Whyte.

 

Even though they're both past their sell-by date, it's still a big fight. 800k.

 

The same happened with the Connor Benn V Eubank Jnr fight.

Casuals were fuming when they found out they had to fork out a month's sub in addition to the Box Office fee.

The casuals were seething with rage when the fight was cancelled and they did not get the monthly sub refunded.

The casuals were boiling when they got charged another month when they found out the hard way that their subscription cancellation required one month's notice.

This mob will not be succesful with this contempt of customers.

There will be a mass exodus of annual subscribers early next year as Hearn was trusted and delivered very poor cards.

Once shafted, people never return.

And didn't DAZN make it harder to actually unsubscribe at one point?, By removing the ability to simply do so within the app, and force people to have to ring up or wait for ages in online chat?.

 

Can't people just pay for it on the sky channel now though?

That experience would drive the casual monthly subscriber away for good.

The hassle is not worth it for people.

 

You pay DAZN and not Sky.

Non subscribers could not buy Box Office without subscribing for the Benn v Eubank fight and I believe this is still the position.

Perhaps the Matchroom guru @DramaShow can inform us if this has changed or not.

 

Whilst the young Matchroom apprentice may know what shows are on, payment is not his forte

 

This is bloody mental.

I can't see too many casuals paying both the subscription and the PPV. DAZN Will definitely lose out in the long-term with this. A casual may get bitten once, in maybe not fully realising the subscription commitment and the difficulty now in unsubscribing, but they won't get bitten twice....

PPV at the silly prices as they are now should always be a standalone choice.

 

On DAZN? I can’t see that happening.

 

A subscription charge to view the fight is no better as to when Sky used to do the same thing.

Sky relented on this policy and DAZN should do too.

No way this fight does more than 250k buys if it’s effectively £47 to view.

 

It won't be 47 quid to view. They're mental but not that mental.

 

If it’s 47 quid I genuinely don’t think 200.

 

Benn v Eubank last year was 1 Month Sub + Box Office Charge

No way around it - no sub, no Box Office.
