I don't think so, Crawford would outpoint that version of Ugas yes but not put on the type of extreme pressure that Spence did to force the stoppage, I don't think any welterweight in the past 20 years could have done that.

When I see a unique victory like that it tells me he's a bit better than the rest. Obviously there's other variables involved but I won't bother getting into that.

 

There's a high chance of tbud stopping him with a TKO by cornering him and even his corner stopping it even then a UD decision seems to be it

You are only correct in the sense that Spence is much better than both Kessler and Calzaghe. Spence is a special effects fighter.

 

Ofc Spence can knock down crawford. That's not out of the equation, if crawford is sloppy, he will be KD, and even KO if he's sloppy enough. Captain obvious.

The problem is that we know how Crawford reacts when a 80% KO puncher punches him hard (he just grits his teeths and fights back to KTFO of him). And the hardest puncher Spence has fought is a lightweight and a totally wasted guy with only one healthy eye, so we dont know what he will do when tagged porperly by a fighter who has KTFO every single oponent in the last 7 years. Probably Spence will look for his mouthguard, since what we saw in the previous fights.

Have I made excuses for canelo? really? I didnt know that, since I've always defended that the better man at LHW won that night, that canelo CANT win to bivol so he should not rematch him and that mayweather literally humillieated him. But ok, I dont care, good for me.

Crawford doesnt need to chop down an opponent to stop him...a couple of well placed punch the opponent doesnt see would do the same job than the hundred punches spence must throw to "break his opponent".
