Who cares about how Spence or Crawfish dealt with common opponents. Spence & Crawford dealt with bumrush Porter as they needed to.

Crawford is either going to show what nuanced skillsets do to a more crude pressure fighter (who has a naff eye, no teeth and is over the hill) OR Spence is going to find everything he has on that night and show Crawford who's the real big dog and leave Crawford ring circling like Amir Khan. Both can stop one another. Neither have been stopped. Crawford's skills should pay the bills on paper but Spence is looking to rip up that cheque.

People like to compare this Hagler Hearns but that's NONSENSE because both Crawford & Spence will likely head off into retirement after this fight.

They both know it might be a close fight and if that happens it's good for them because rematch money is desired.

 

Man the more I watch and read on these guys the harder it is to pick a winner.

 

Crawford wins and the closer we get the more I’m sure it will happen. Spence looked like a starving teenager at the Ugas weigh in and that was almost a year and a half ago. I think his punch resistance will be at an all time low at this weight, and facing Crawford, that’s a recipe for disaster.

 

Spence doesn't exactly start fast either. It takes several rounds before Spence starts ramping up the pressure.

 

True Hagler & Hearns were in their own lane no comparison.

 

Could be but man just looking at how athletic Crawford is with his defense & attack, the major point i see would be the foot work & speed i see it as Terence's biggest asset in this one.

 

That's why Crawford stopped him in ten and if his daddy hadn't got scared, he would have knocked him completely out.

 

Of course Spence fight the better Porter, there's never been any doubt about it to me. But that doesn't guarantee his victory at all, comparison by common opponents is not always a reliable method to predict the future.
