Is Errol Spence underestimating Terence Crawford power?

Errol isn’t stupid. He knows that Crawford is a sniper. He just has confidence in his defense.

 

Crawfords power is overrated, who is he stopping?

I doubt either one of these guys are doubting the other. Don’t let little remarks confuse you both fighters and head trainers are aware of the threat in the opposite corner.

But no, I do not think Spence is underestimating Crawfords power, I think Crawford might be underestimating Spence's engine though.

No he is not but they have studied Crawford very well and no what buttons to push.

 

At this level I wouldn't think anything is being underestimated. There is too much on the line. I certainly wouldn't pay any attention to anything said now because these guys know they have to do interviews and they do a bit of rehearsing of what they will say. Their heavy sparring would have ended probably a couple days ago and these guys are ready to go.

 

Exactly. Spence isn't going to say that Bud could knock him out if he lands a clean power shot, but it is is possible with both fighters. They are both smart and know exactly what awaits them. Mind games are important as well as selling the fight.

 

Both fighters are good enough to know what the other man brings. No way either guy underestimates his opponent. I say this because neither man comes across as a fool. Plus, I've never seen them come into a fight unprepared.
