Absolutely horrible fight. I'd rather fury not fight than at all than to fight chisora for his next opponent.

If Fury turns around w/ another fight after this in somewhat timely manner, i'll let this go as a stay-busy fight. But after this, if no Usyk or AJ... he can retire for all I care...

Chisora is and always was a BUM. This is just pathetic on Fury's part. He's been spoon fed tailor made opponents ever since facing Wlad

Remember when people actually thought Fury was going to fight Usyk next

Fury is in the same catagory as Keith "One Time I was a boxer" Thurman.

He will never fight him. I’d give it around 10 percent in case he sees Usyk declining that badly. But I don’t see it. Fury is the worst HW champion in history in terms of legacy and career management. Nobody in the history of this sport did so little and weak with so much opportunity. As far as I’m concerned, Usyk beat him and he is the legit and reigning undisputed champion.

"Nobody in the history of this sport did so little and weak with so much opportunity."

He dethroned the two longest single reigning heavyweight champions since Holmes in their backyards, with two of those wins being astonishing regardless of any revisionist attempts to discredit them. He made one of the greatest comebacks in boxing history. He had what is already regarded as one of the greatest trilogies in heavyweight history. He's upset the bookmakers' odds more than any heavyweight champion since Holyfield. He'll make the Hall of Fame on the first ballot, as will his main rival Wilder. He's an undefeated 2x Ring heavyweight champion and 2x Ring fighter of the year. He'll have made 9 figures from boxing when all is said and done. He's done pretty well I'd say.

Your quote also makes no sense: you don't think Fury can/will beat Usyk. So how would fighting him benefit Fury legacy-wise by your logic? Surely it's good "career management" to let someone else beat Usyk or age/wear him out to the point where Fury will likely beat him?

    He is...

Fury & Usyk are retiring off this fight though so want to maximize their earnings. 12 months delay to double their paychecks is worth it.

Fury's netflix has to air first.

    Oh dear.

I won’t waste my time picking apart your post sentence by sentence. But I’ll tell you this much: being a Fury apologist nowadays reeks of desperation. You guys are in an ever-receding pocket, mate. And you know it too, you just hold on like any good cult member would do. Even here, there’s not more than like a dozen of you. And you don’t even realise that Fury s***s on and robs you, his vassals, the hardest.

Make sure to buy PPVs for all your friends and family for the Ngannou bout, lol.

    Key word; next.

He's not fighting Usyk next. He's fighting an 0-0 mma fighter.

But I'm sure once Usyk is 37 or 38 Fury will find it within himself to sign the contract. Likely almost 2 years after the post I quoted lol.

He ducked an opportunity to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis. Against a so-called "middleweight". Let that sink in.
