Bob Arum named Devin Haney and Vasily Lomachenko as possible opponents.

It won't be against those guys I'll tell you that, bob will not allow it. It would probably be someone like Jermaine Ortiz which would be a difficult fight, but easy to make.

I have a shocking prediction, his opponent will not excite boxing fans.

I know he's called them both out but Loma wants the Haney rematch and Haney will either rematch Loma or face Pograis for the WBC title at 140. Haney's recently gotten an extension until the 27th of July to make a decision to either defend at 135 or go up to 140 and face Pograis.

If the WBC light weight title is vacated then that would leave Loma and Shakur the two top ranked contenders and then maybe we see Loma/Stevenson for the vacant WBC title and also perhaps the WBO title as they are the top 2 ranked fighters for the WBO two.

The cynic in me says that one of them ends up fighting for the vacant WBC title and the other for the vacant WBO title but I hope I'm wrong.

There was a day when what Arum said mattered. Now it is up to the fighters.

Probably, but someone like Ortiz would be nice, and he’s got nothing lined up. Kambosos would be cool, too, he’ll have plenty of time off till November.
