After watching all of Crawford's and Spence's fights, this is my conclusion.

I talk alot of trash but I had not watched this fight in any detail until now. I took a look at the first two rounds and my assessment of what is going on in this ring is the following: If I didn't know anything about these guys then I would say that the Ugas fellow is the type of British level fighter that is fed to the local prospects there when the promoters there are attempting to make their local fighters into contenders. There is no way that this guy is ever going to hold any championship and probably won't even get himself into a titleshot ever. The other guy Spence looks a bit better but yes this is the type of fighter that is never going to become a true world champion(never say never Carlos Baldomir got there as well as many other shitty fighters), this guy might however sometime get a title shot or even hold one of the 4 org belts for some time, also if matched correctly he could participate in some entertaining fights that are worth watching.

This being said well as far as Spence goes I'd be right about him holding some 4 org belt for some time since so far he isn't the true champ of any division, but yes holding a 4 org belt would be overachieving in my opinion since he barely has enough quality to do that. As far as the entertaining fights aspect goes this is something which has eluded Spence his whole career and all of his fights have stunk.

In a normal high quality division neither Spence nor Ugas should be in the top 5 so I guess that this division currently just sucks. But hey maybe it will be entertaining to see Bud ko this fraud and end this nonsense.

 

You are so wrong on this. Crawford may be the more athletically talented of the 2 but Spence has the better fundamental skills and fight temperament. You guys picking Crawford underestimate Spence skills.

 

Spence is defensively responsible and versatile he will get to Crawford and break his will.

 

We don’t know that nor am I convinced Mikey can be knocked out. What we do know is Spence took Mikey’s soul.

 

I’m only picking Crawford because he’s very good at adjusting and adapting to his opponent. I also believe he has more gears he can go to if needed.

I’ll be very surprised if this fight is all it’s hyped up to be but I’m seeing a boring chess match with Crawford nipping rounds and getting the sd

 

Spence is a fraud? Hahaha. Ok dude. We will see on Saturday.

 

I love how sure of yourself you are. Crawford would have lost to the versions of M. Garcia, Brook, Ugas and D. Garcia? No way you know that. Spence would have beaten Benavidez in 6. LOL. OK Fortune teller boy.

 

I have been preaching this for ages. Flashier does not mean more skilled. Spence is a mixture of the mindset mentality of southpaw Marvelous Marvin Hagler, the body punching/body snatching ability of fellow Jamaican heritage boxer Mike McCallum and the fundamental skills set of fellow Texan Donald Curry. People don’t realise this yet but Crawford has a lot to overcome on Saturday.

 

Oh. I misread. Yeah, no question Spence has the better comp.

 

Acctually we won't necessarily. Any man can win one fight. Shane Mosley wasn't a fraud but got beat by V Forrest. Zab wasn't a fraud and yet he got whooped by Baldomir and Kostya. Lennox lost to Rahman, they are 1 and 1. If Spence wins this one and then goes on to do something more with his career for example beating the new Kostya and the other 147 contenders then I can acknowledge that the fellow isn't a fraud, until then a fraud he is.

Acctually with all this said I have been watching this all access spence vs crawford thing now and I can't help but to sympathize with Spence, he seems like a really nice fellow. Spence was hyped up as the next superstar before he even turned pro with all sorts of desperate managers and promoters riding his ****, this obviously lead to the undeserving poor man becoming a titleholder and really rich, with these being things that he didn't really earn he ends up doing that thing with that Ferrari and then messing up his eye. Then I look at some of the obvious mistakes that he makes inside the ring I just ask myself what is wrong? He worked with a bunch of top amateur trainers, Floyd Mayweather and Roy Jones jr and yet he is making those mistakes? Jesus. Anyway Spence may be a fraud but he seems like a nice fellow.

My money is on this fight being postponed. Would take almost any bet on it. Will it get rescheduled and happen? Probably but after these 9 years or whatever the postponement is going to hurt the promotion even more.
