Yes and it’s not a debate. There’s no way the winner of Spence-Crawford is doing anything significant after that fight. Inoue still has plenty of gas in the tank.
I watched Fulton vs Inoue. Inoue wasn't that great. Fulton often tagged him with his left. I don't understand the insane hype for Inoue.
With which punches; the ones that missed, the ones that missed, the ones that were blocked, or the ones that missed? Of Fulton's 200+ punches thrown he landed less than 50 punches on Inoue all night. The hell are you talking about, "often tagged with his left?"
I saw the highlights. It was a wash. Inoue is a great fighter. I just didn't understand the uproar about him beating a fighter like Fulton. I understand now. When the fighter that you want to win does it in a devastating fashion, fans become emotionally charged and the high can last several days. Happens to me.
It was never about me wanting any particular guy to win though. Inuoe whooped him through and through just like I thought he would. Now, me saying a guy is going to win in a particular fashion vs me wanting a guy to win is completely different. The writing was on the wall. Fulton in my eyes didn’t beat Figueroa. With Inuoe he was facing a more calculated, faster and dynamic puncher in his absolute prime. Inoue is better than Figueroa in every way. Wasn’t a hard call at all since over 90% of the board had him winning by ko.
