I'm warming to Froch - I think he's deliberately skirting between a prickly persona and self-parody (the whole "80,000 at Wembley" thing gave him an easy way to mock himself) and the result is someone that seems to be pretty honest and not tied to any channel/promoter like most of them. He seems pretty grounded as a property developer as his day job so pretty sure he doesn't give a toss what anyone thinks.

He's clearly loyal to McCracken though and you can't knock him for that either.

Froch is embarrassing. Any kind of success AJ has had in his career was down to McCracken.

Fighters change trainers all the time but Froch can't seem to get over the fact that AJ left McCracken.

Also McCracken can fight his own corner so I don't understand why Froch needs to go in and bat for McCracken all the time.

Lol & Froch saying what AJ needs to do vs Whyte but then manages to make it about himself referencing the Bute fight.

As for this "legacy" Froch bangs on about.

What exactly is his legacy? You would think listening to him Froch had a career where he ruled a division of All time greats and he beat them all.

Froch is a hater. He was the same with Andre Ward when he said :

See how he had to applaud Ward for fighting the most feared man in boxing but then discredit beating Kovalev twice.

That is what haters do, they need to find any kind of reason to criticise even if someone is successful.

Give over Carl Froch’s resume is as good as any British fighter in recent times. Far superior to AJ’s and better than Calzaghe’s.
Although I think Calzaghe would have won had they fought.

    My point exactly.

Froch has no real legacy. I followed his career. Yes he did things the hard way, but so what? He has no legacy. Didn't unify, didn't take straps in the class above him, never beat the up and comers, didn't clear out his division, never faced all of his domestic rivals.. Froch has no legacy.

    I'm honest pal.

Frock did not want the Groves rematch.
Frock his behind his jab against Arthur when that fight was supposed to be a war. That was THE fan favourite fight of the time.
Frock moaned about losing to Kessler.
Frock got an absolute gift against Dirrell (i was there).
Beat a Bute who was the only smw of that time NOT to enter the S6.

You tell me what his legacy is. Because although brave, he lacks big win and meaningful wins.

Unlike Joshua who has an inactive 41 year old who retired straight after and a load of second rate heavyweights.

on top of that i see Froch as a bloke who wants to be the alpha male character in the room, he wants people to be looking at him and admiring him and so on. Joshua is a 6 foot 6 guy good looking and better body. He makes Froch look like a small man and people must remember that photo where he dwarfed Froch it was like a man against a mouse. Your point about Froch thinking only he would be doing Wembley is a brilliant point as he was going on and on about it until it became a joke. He now uses it as a joke but at one point he was deadly serious and the way he boasted. Also heavyweights are bigger men they are more important in terms of the prestige. A heavyweight champion would bludgeon a super middleweight champion any day of the week. It's like the wheelchair tennis brilliant athletes in their own right but they wouldnt be beating Sampras or Federer or Djokovic. It's a different league. Froch is inferior to Joshua in every way and also his record isnt as good. He also was going to lose to Groves that first time around before Foster couldn't wait to get in there.

His legacy is right there in front of you

    Every successful fighter has one

It's up to an individual if they rate it

You clearly don't but I think Froch's is just fine, as is AJ's

He did unify which shows your lack of knowledge. Also he broke the top 10 P4P list.
He faced everyone in his division back to back and beat almost all of them. Which is why he got in the hall of fame straight away. Legend! Joshua is not on Frochs level.

Who did he beat to unify? The man was Ward, and Frock didnt win a round. Like Green? Johnson? Groves? Don't make me laff.
