Remember when they tried to lock me in the insane asylum when I said Egis The Machine who dropped Crawford would also drop Spence too? They're always trying to lock me in an insane asylum for speaking the truth but the catch is they were the crazy ones all along because I keep getting proven right every time. Egis hits very hard with both hands, has fast hands, and puts his shots together really well and he would stand a good chance of stopping Spence with that power and speed and good punching technique. He did much better against Crawford than Spence did, had no issues landing with big flush shots, took 2 or 3 rounds of him IIRC, and he hurt and dropped him too.
That's not my point. Point is it doesn't matter always when you're facing an opponent that could beat all you're other opponents. Doesn't always translate into a loss or even an unusually harder fight.
