Japan has been on a roll with their fighters this year with the amount of champions they have, along with having a Top P4P great fighter. Glad to see that boxing is so strong over there. Naoya Inoue 25–0 (22 KO) WBC, WBO Champ, former Undisputed Champ Kazuto Ioka 30–2–1 (15 KO) WBA Champ Junto Nakatani 25–0 (19 KO) WBO Champ Kenshiro Teraji 21–1 (13 KO) WBA, WBC, The Ring Champ Takuma Inoue 18–1 (4 KO) WBA Champ Yudai Shigeoka 7–0 (5 KO) WBC Champ Ginjiro Shigeoka 8–0 (7 KO) IBF Champ
They have two top 10 pfp in Inoue and Ioka, plus a fringe pound for pound in Teraji. Junto is very skilled and might be on that list too in the future. Very, very dominant over the lower weights.
Just a shame they absolutely suck apart from those few tiny weight classes most countries don't even have boxers in and ,most boxing fans don't even watch.
I think this year alone has been a huge highlight for Japanese boxing with great showings from their best fighters (Inoue, Ioka, Nakatani, and Teraji). Inoue may likely become Fighter of the Year. And Nakatani's stoppage of Moloney could certainly be KO of the Year as well. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Unfortunately for them small men are the distain of society. This is what happens when you haven't evolved from fighting dinosaurs, ice lions, mammoths and 10ft gorillas.
Nobody will care about Tyson Fury in a hundred years. He'll be an obscure name in the heavyweight championship annals.
