During the faceoff at the weigh ins, they have a small exchange Ej - hey uh, thanks for making the fight happen Bud- leans forward Ej - thanks for making the fight happen Bud - no, you aint gotta thank me, we can thank each other! *gives daps* Bud - we're going to make history baby Ej - and make bank Bud- definitely I dont know, something about this exchange where the mics arent loaded up and happening face to face the day before the fight, with bkth of their faces and body language showing so much respect.. felt pretty refreshing for me to see. No need to fake bs or trash talk, this fight is selling off of pure skills in the ring I got crawford btw *oops, post fight interview, spence says he said you need to thank me for making this fight happen. LOL guess it was light trash talk after all
Yeah, it’s cool to see. I was surprised they had a guy holding Spence back during the face off. Would have liked to see them face to face.
Powers that be tried to stop this fight from ever happening. No guessing a certain Vegas ex fighter did his best to stop it (so bitter and jealous)
Some people were dissapointed, but i dgaf about weigh ins. Remember GGG vs Canelo 3 press conference and weigh in? Everybody expected big drama show, but the fight was more boring than watching old people playing dominoes in the nursing home.
Really refreshing to see 2 world class fighters showing respect without the need of relentless trash talking or shoving one another during weigh in. Both Crawford and Spence know what they’re up against and acknowledge that this is their biggest moment.

The Guardian (UK newspaper) has the exchange going "You don't have to thank me for making this fight happen" "You don't have to thank me either" and paints them as very respectful and chill towards one another.
It's different seeing Errol this way. He's normally in great white shark mode. His demeanor looks different in front of Crawford.
