    That post made me laugh out loud too. Golovkin wanted no part of Ward. I don't know how people debate this. Ward would have embarrassed Golovkin IMO.

    I think the main problem for both these guys for the last 5 years is the division been weak , they had to fight guys who were all past champions but were on the way out , Khan, Brook, Porter, Danny Garica they were all from the Floyd era, they were no other in their prime fighters apart from each other to fight and really build their records.

    Yes in a way both wasted good years, the fight should of happened a few years ago , but looking at Bud he looks like a real 147 fighter now, Erol looks like he came down to 147.. Bud looks better on the scales ..

    Yeah, he did fight a few good fighters, who has he really fought?

    Let's be really objective here. He hasn't done anything in the last few years, other than fighting Ugas.

    He's got 3 belts and hasn't made a title defense since 2020. Must be nice to be able to hold on to all those belts without defending it.

    Spence plans to work at the body mainly to slow down Crawford but its not sure that his plan is gonna work since Crawford is not going to stand in front of Spence to take those body shots.

    Don't think either guy wanted the fight as much especially at the time, Ward had his chance first but decline & then Golovkin didn't bother making it after he was done with Lemieux.
