Benn fails drug test

It's not just a fluke.....it would mean that prior to those 2 tests he's managed to avoid chicken/eggs infected with clomifine for the whole of his career and its just coincidental that in the last 18 months he's managed to eat them twice......

It's the biggest pile of bull**** going.

Facts are simple, he couldn't handle a journeyman frenchie, we then had 2 years of no out of competition testing in the uk due to covid and lab capacity, during this time his physique completely changes and his body stops producing testosterone to the point he needs a beard transplant....he then tests dirty.

But nothing to see here.......**** off

 

Serious question (although I genuinely can't believe I'm typing this). Based on this 'genetic' defence thats been quoted, what would happen if he tested positive in the future for this substance?

Let's face it, we all know what's gone on. Might as well just scrap drugs testing for everyone now. In amongst the comments I've seen on social media and news articles, amongst the anger & disbelief from some, or the mindless defense of him by matchroom fc types there is one comment that stands out the most and is by far the most frequent. 'Joke sport' and sadly, its impossible to disagree. This, added to big fights not getting made and quite obviously 'dodgy' judging decisions for home fighters and neutrals have turned there back in masses on boxing. Sure, they might tune in or show passive interest in 2/3 big fights a year, but outside of that they are done with it

 

Been in work and saw the headline I can’t be bothered reading all the bs and unnecessary stuff I’d rather just ask you knowledgeable people who don’t have fingers in Benn’s egg pies. Has he got off with it totally unscathed, no punishment no nothing? If so HOW?

Wouldn’t surprise me if Eubank pulls out of the Smith fight if Benn says he doesn’t want a ‘tune up’.

 

Apparently cleared and straight back to calling out retired fighters. Strangely, no sign of any of those big mental health problems he gave in his Piers Morgan 'victim' speech. Odd that isn't it - almost as if it was completely fictitious, who would have thought it eh!

For a man who was apparently rock bottom, he did well to leave the house everyday and hit the gym, spend plenty of time on social media showing off his lifestyle, continue to get into arguments on twitter, still appear at shows, post a video of himself laughing with his old man at Eubank Jr's defeat, take many holidays and conduct interviews. All whilst apparently being close to ending it all.

It says a lot to me when the ones who want to defend Benn, can't do so by using him as their counter point but deflect onto Fury or Canelo failing tests. If your man Benn is innocent, tell us exactly why and how, saying that people weren't this aggrieved with Fury isn't a defence.

 

It's like the defence mechanism of an 8 year old when caught doing something wrong at school - "but he did it first miss' . Probably says more about the intellect of these people than anything else. A bit like that 'a source tells me' fantasist on here

Jordan was adamant strict liability meant Benn was certain to get a ban and his going to have to eat some crow.

 

So you actually believe he’s innocent of doping is that what you are saying? You can throw around all the technicalities you want he hasn’t been proven innocent of anything.

Is this thing really over? If it is, the BBBofC should be making a statement.

In Benn's interview with Piers Morgan not long back, he said “They filed 7 misconduct charges against me" and I'm pretty sure Benn was referring to the BBBofC.

Assuming that's the case, what was the outcome of all those charges?
