We've seen Donaire lose before but, win or lose, this is the first time he has truly looked old. This would be the perfect time for him to retire.

    Easy fight to score.

Santiago won by about 7-8 rounds.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Donaire come to Australia and fight Maloney. It would be a big fight down here and one I think Donaire would win.

I think it’s time for Donaire to hang them up.

Time is the greatest teacher. Unfortunately it kills all of its students.

Donaire can continue boxing but he is done at the highest level. I worry about him taking beatings in order to land a left hook that isn't knocking people out anymore.

The stupidity of reactionaries like you on these RBR never cease to amaze me. The first 4 rounds of this fight, Donaire was defending very well, most of Santiago's shots were being blocked, and Donaire was edging them. Good for you, you got sucked into the groupthink and thought you were witnessing a schooling. But the reality is, that just wasn't the case.
