Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence Allan Crawford & Isaac Cruz vs. Giovanni Cabrera RBR.

Yeah Crawford is number one now. It was a dominant performance. He gets props, even that version of Spence is a monster.

 

Definitely elite balance. Always in a position to throw or evade. Even small adjustments to take the sting out of shots.

 

Spence said he is exercising the rematch clause and he would be better.

 

This was such a dominating performance it made Inoue Fulton look competitive.

Spence looks absolutely terrible. His power looked on par with Cabrera; hopeless after round 2.

I feel sad for Spence. It must be hard to justifiably believe you are a great and be proven so violently wrong in the ring. He's between a rock and a hard place now. Another fight with Crawford could result in a career ending beating. Best thing would be for the rematch to fall apart over the weight and Spence move on with his reputation somewhat intact.

 

Well I hope so, mate. He took some serious damage tonight and didn't even look as though he was in a similar class to Crawford, at all.


Crawford is Spences personal nightmare, style-wise. A true nemesis if ever there was one.

 

Spence wasn't himself tonight, credit to Crawford but I think the inactivity made it even less competitive and with Crawfords accuracy made it a tricky day at the office.

 

Spence would beat any other WW not name Bud.

 

Brook was at about 50%, that's what skews the rating of Spence. It would have taken a whole different fighter to KO welterweight Brook like that before he was broken by triple G.

 

This is why the Hagler/Hearns/Leonard/Duran and Benitez era was so great, the fights were great matchups and were even fights. Lately big fights turn into one sided fights. Maybe they wait too long in today's boxing.

 

He will beat everyone at 154 but he will never beat Crawford.

I think Bud can take out Charlo for a 3rd undisputed title. Spence can probably take him out too

GOAT vs good fighter. If I was a betting man it was buying money. In the UK we could have got £666 per £1,000. Not sure in US but thats better than any Interest rate I've ever seen.

 

Why do you usual suspects not like Crawford? He is American so what is it about him?
