Crawford vs Pacquiao from 2009

I'm not sure anyone could beat that Pacquiao.

 

I think Crawford is even better than Pacquiao.

 

Crawford is sad tidings for Pac. Big size, top elite skills, cracking power and magnificent finishing, he's a mean machine. He could time Pac all night like JMM/Floyd but with genuine 147lbs KO power, and I don't think Pac's frightening rhythm and deceptive speed disrupts Bud. He's too seasoned.

Now I think it's a competitive bout where Pac does find some success taking the fight to Crawford, but that's also his demise getting smacked twice as much, twice as hard. Bud's a problem to any WW, ever, and Pac's just undersized.

I'm a huge Pacquiao fan but Crawford beats him.
On the other hand Pacquiao was barely 150lbs when yesterday's Crawford was surely approaching 160.

 

Crawford counters him to death and wins by an even more brutal KO than Marquez 4.

Man, this a tough one if we are talking about the Bud from last night. Pac destroyed come forward fighters but had more struggles against sharp counter punchers, which obviously Bud is. I can see Pac overwhelm Bud at times but i can also see Bud catching Pac constantly with devastating, sharp counters.

Gun to my head, Bud from last night wins. He fights off the back foot and plays the counter game.

 

Crawford who was getting badly outboxed and hurt by micro-sized Gamboa?

Crawford who had a very competitive fight with one-legged Benavidez?

Crawford who lost rounds to Khan and Brook?

Crawford who got dropped by EK?

Crawford who just beat Zombie Spence?

 

Yup, Pac's footspeed, ability to go in and out and come from various angles would be completely different from the basic, plodding footwork of Spence. It would be a huge factor to consider.
