Spence thought he was the bigger and stronger guy. I think he was surprised by crawfords speed and timing and overall toughness. He thought he could bully Crawford who was also much stronger than he thought.

Spence has always been a drunk, before the accident and still today. Here is a Dallas native exposing his drunk ass. Why do you think I've always called him out about being an alcoholic??
These guys can't hide those habits like the fighters of the past. Crawford is a drug free family man. Just like with Ward the white online fight haters clown Crawford for being too good of a black fighter and the black online fight haters clown him for not being a clown, half a rapper goofball. Spence has never been what the hype made him and neither are those other 2 from Texas. It's a shame because there are very good fighters that need that shine and it always goes to clowns.

Crawford and his team identified Spence's jab as something that needed to be nullified. He said this to Jim Grey in the ring immediately after the fight. The plan was to use his own jab as a punishing jab, not a range finder. It worked perfectly.

    It was neither.
Crawfords counters were a thing of absolute beauty, I dont think Spence in the best shape of his life and the best gameplan would ever beat Crawford.

Crawford is a special fighter. I was not convinced by him up until he fought Porter, he was always there to be hit, I felt eventually someone would KO him.

Against Porter his defense was excellent and he was just so calm in that fight, even when Porter was winning rounds I knew deep in my heart that Crawford will win, his calmness us what sets him apart as well.

As for physical strength. He would've known Crawford was strong. I mean we all did so surely he would of too. There's videos of Crawford comfortably lifting heavy weights. He was a fairly accomplished wrestler in high school, his father, grandfather and uncles were too or all wrestled.

And Rougarou said he could feel his strength when they had a little play around at an event

Crawford has a deceptive body. He's very wiry and heavier than he looks

Can't a fighter just be better? As stated above, there are levels to everything.

Crawford was just better than Spence in all facets of the game. There was nothing Spence could do to make it close at any given moment.

I know Errol being a reigning champ & a rugged fighter had him thinking that but most people in Boxing knew it to be not true, i'm surprised why he thought he would be the stronger guy in there i thought that one was the least obvious fact, especially with his team watching so much Tape on Crawford's insight clinching fights.
