I watched the video, the crash was severe, Spence got thrown 40 feet out of his car and hit the pavement, and was lucky to walk away still with his faculties, but you gotta think of how many fighters would have been able to walk away from that type of car crash and go on to unify 3 out of the 4 belts. Probably not many. He's a gutsy fighter but you can't help but wonder how much more competitive he could have been if he wouldn't have had that happen to him.

No self-respecting doctor would try to diagnose a patient on TV. The first thing the guy cites is his *wife's* comments!

Spence always has been a slow talker and his teeth have affected him, too. Besides, he was world class post-injury so there's no problem. He was an elite fighter on Saturday night and simply got beaten up by a better one.

Terry suffers neurological damage in the bedroom every night from his wife and both Terry and Errol looked drained during the last few days before the fight. People keep acting like Terry's small for 147 but that's complete nonsense.

He's a big 147 pounder. Was always a natural 147 pounder. His fight night weights at 135 and 140 tell us how big he was and he's clearly significantly bigger at 147 than he was at 140. If he was coming in as high as 153 at 135 and 157 at 140 he's easily 162 at 147 and I'm telling you now he looks more than 5lbs heavier in the ring than he was at 140 to me.

He said himself it's a struggle for him to make 147 now and that he wants to move up to 154 and if you look at him the ring he looks the same size as all these 147 pounders he's fighting and if he ever looks smaller it's not by much.

I'd say Brook is the biggest guy Terry has ever fought but even he, at most, had 5lbs on him and it may well have been less than that.

Look at how tiny Loma looks against all these 135 pounders he's facing in his third weight class. That's because they actually are much or way bigger and heavier than him. You think it's a struggle for him to make 135? He never looked drained at 126 for goodness sake. Terry looked much more drained the other day at his third weight than Loma did at his first weight.

Let's just say for argument sake Terry weighs 162 in the ring at 147. Well, GGG's average fight night weight is 170 and Terry has a 4'' reach advantage on him.

Haney weighed 20lbs more than Loma and had just under a 6'' reach advantage.

So how many divisions would Terry have to move up weighing what he weighs now to be giving away those kind of physical advantages?

In terms of weight he would have to face someone who weighed 182lbs in the ring so that would mean he would have to face a LHW like Bivol, the Kovalev who fought Yarde and Sillakh, or the Benavidez who fought Plant. And he would still have a reach advantage over all of them sans Benavidez who would have 0.5'' reach advantage on him.

But none of ya'll are calling for Terry to face guys that big and if he lost to them you would just say they're way too big for him and that it wasn't even a fair fight due to the huge size disadvantage.

Stick Terry in there with top contenders and world champion after world champion who weigh 10-15lbs more than him and have close to 3-6'' reach on him and are big or huge punchers for a weight class he's tiny for and I can assure you things will start to look very different for him indeed.

Notice how I start out defending Terry but twist it into a defence of Loma? Why? Because that's what I do and because it needs to be done.

Absolutely not. Crawford gets full credit for it because Spence was still fighting at a high level going in.

i dont understand why spence and team were so confident. He had no timing. How many rounds of mitts and sparring do you think he did. If your timing isnt there on fightnight it wasnt there in camp. You arent sharp in camp then all the sudden off during the fight. doesnt work that way

spence didnt even know what to do when crawford tied him up. That is telling to me. A pressure fighter who does nothing when a guy ties him up. Just content on waiting for the ref to break it.
