True said but Wilder goes beyond just simple excuse making, this guy lives in his own world of make believe & delusion seriously.

Son, Spence was a dead man walking. He looked like a terminally ill homeless man. Spence was drained in the Ugas fight as well, but he wasn't near death.

I don't like seeing a compromised man take a vicious beating like that. I blame Derrick James and Spence's dad for letting him fight. I've said for years and years and years that Crawford beats that ass, but damn, Spence had a 40% chance of winning before the accident and when he started having trouble making weight.

On Saturday, it was less than 10%. In fact, I bet on Crawford by KO as soon as I saw Spence in the dressing room.

 

I'm a Spence fan and picked him to win. I wouldn't have done that if I felt he was comprised. He lost fair and square to the better man no excuses! Why do people like you never want to give credit when it's due? You're simply not a boxing fan just a fanboy of certain boxers period.

 

Yet somehow Spence beat world class fighters and was only an slight underdog going into this fight. Most people considered this a close 50/50 fight between two top five PFP champions. An accident that happened four years ago, that he fully recovered from did not impact his performance. Somehow you saw something that was so apparent but missed by most of the boxing world, even the bookies. If you were so certain, why didn’t you bet the farm? Spence didn’t become a brain scrabbled weight drained bum until Crawford beat him. This was the most anticipated fight of the decade because people are blind clueless idiots (except you and a couple internet guys). Sour grapes.

For the record, I bet Crawford and expected him to win a competitive fight. The beatdown he delivered in his biggest fight was epic and he deserves all of the recognition he’s receiving. Spence was still a dangerous opponent, capable of knocking out anyone in his weight class and would probably be favored against anyone at 147 not named Crawford, even after this fight.

Spence's ability to make 147 safely and without compromise is not something that exists in perpetuity. It was one fight too late and he had been out of the ring for a year plus. He was drained and video showed a dead man walking to the ring.

I've always favored Crawford and thought Spence was tremendously overrated (check my post history). I don't think a fully fit, non-drained, prime Spence beats Crawford. But that literally doesn't change the fact that Crawford beat the stuffing out of a corpse.

With people creaming their panties over Crawford destroying the corpse of an overrated fighter and saying he beats anyone in history, I thought I'd inject some reality into the discussions. Spence was drained and a broken man. If you choose to ignore all of the circumstances, and video proof of a man that was clearly not healthy and fit for combat, then it is you who needs psychiatric treatment as reality scares you.

Also, Spence wants a rematch at 154 with ZERO belts on the line. Gee, I wonder why. HMMMMMM..................................
