If George Foreman wanted to make a comeback to fight Tyson Fury it would be illegal to bar him

Because of his age. It is against federal law.

Under the ADEA it is unlawful to discriminate against any individual age 40 or older because of their age with respect to any term, condition, or privilege of employment, including but not limited to, recruitment, hiring, firing, promotion, layoff, compensation, benefits, job assignments, and training.

    https://www.eeoc.gov/age-discrimination

This also goes for old timers like Bowe, Hearns, Holyfield and others who might want to make a comeback and be world champions again.

Pretty sure he would not be cleared by any boxing health board.

It's hardly the same as being denied an interview for the job of Lollipop Man at Wheatley High School.

I bet this has piqued Peanut Head's interest though.

Look at it this way...74 is 20 years younger than 94

I will look at it that way... when i'm 74 (will they still need me, will they still feed me?)

I heard Jose Torres might come back too...

I get the feeling that if Foreman came back to challenge Tyson Fury, you won't support his comeback because of his age. Why do you hate the elderly??

I'd still like to see Foreman-Holmes even if it was just an exhibition. I think it would be surprisingly good.

Not at all. It would be the first fight in which they'd have a coroner in the fighter's corner.

I agree 100 percent. Tyson Fury would indeed need a coroner. Look at what Foreman did to Norton and Frazier.
