And his preparation had to be equally horrible. I'd love to see some sparring footage or even mitt work at fight speed. There's no way he looked like that on fight night without looking just as bad throughout camp. He's not well at all.

 

I'm not taking anything away from Crawford as he easily proved he's the better more versatile fighter.
Spence was literally pushing his punches from round one. He also wasn't mixing anything up and couldn't make any adjustments. He got old right in front of everyone. Seen it happen befor with guys like Meldrick Taylor and Saad Muhammad. Time for him to hang em up.

Yes Errol always had less than great balance, even when he gets hit he doesn't guard his face at all but instead just braces the punch head on (kind of reminds me of that MMA fighter Tony Ferguson) & he just sways along the punch pushing him more down towards that direction, as well as him being stiff & flat footed that's a bad combination,

Truth is when Terence has the better skills, sharper reflexes, is more athletic, strong as a horse, great jab & is the quicker sharp shooter with his combinations there's just not much you can do, it's checkmate.

 

It’s not really an excuse. I saw plenty of threads and people commenting about the obvious speech and behavior changes in Spence. Everything about him slowed down after the crash. I’m not sure how so many people are just brushing it off as if people don’t get brain injuries from much lesser crashes. He was also slurring more than any other fighter I’ve seen on the post fight interview.

 

One fighter chooses to live a clean disciplined lifestyle ie Crawford and the other chooses to party drink in their spare time ie Spence.

It is very clear that you have to make sacrifices and live the Spartan lifestyle inside and outside the gym to last longer in the sport.

Spence car accident and the impact of that accident is his fault alone. Even Floyd lived a clean healthy life style where we trained daily, abstained from alcohol, drugs and was mindful of what he ate, drank throughout his career.

 

This is 100% false. I dated an occupational therapist who worked specifically with patients that suffered from Dementia as well as Traumatic brain injuries and she could identify symptoms associated with it within a couple of minutes of observation. Spence has provided more than enough of a sample size to clearly see that he's slurring words like crazy and his motor skills are visibly deteriorating.

 

Obviously due to Spences past they were being extra considerate to his condition mostly due to Al Haymon/Sam Watson commandments as to care for their in house fighter & clearly didn't want anything permanent to happen to him giving his history.

 

Spence has always talked like that's how a lot of country black dudes talk that are from Dallas slow and country AF. I know I live in houston Texas and black dudes from houston always laugh at the way black people from Dallas talk.

 

That's all well & said but i was specifically talking about many of these click bait videos not just the M.D ones made specifically to garner cash & nothing more while behaving like try hards in the video.

 

Yeah plus you can see that when he does interviews & at the pressers he spoke fine & smooth, i think the speech thing was more to do with his new veneers setting in.

 

I call bs on that. He spoke significantly better years ago and that can't be written off as a veneer problem. Just bump this thread in 5 years when he's a complete vegetable.
