Thanks mate. Still a few bad habits to work on but a lot of potential in this young man. Who necks?!? Modini, Benny K?
Got this so called Ring walk app. Looks slicker than a brand new hair cut. Telling me we can expect the lads to walk out about 1pm.
I got that app as well it is pretty good but 1pm probably means 1,30/2pm but they will send you a notification when they are walking out.
Will Tim be on Spence’s radar for a comeback fight when he inevitably moves up? He won’t fight Charlo and if the WBO has any credibility they will make Tszyu full champion soon.
After seeing droopy-eyed Errol get rocked repeatedly by Crawford's jab, can't wait to see what Timmy's right hand does to him. Boom! Droopy gets dropped. Hard.
Huni (7-0) announced he would commence full training this week in anticipation for his clash against American giant Andrew Tabiti (20-1) – the man who he was set to battle in June before a rolled ankle ended that mission two days before flying to New Orleans. The contest would have been the Brisbane pugilist’s international debut, and his first bout since inking a two-year deal with marquee promoters Matchroom. An official date has not yet been locked in, however Huni’s manager Mick Francis confirmed the 24-year-old was poised for the undercard of IBF cruiserweight belt holder Jai Opetaia’s maiden title defence against British sensation Richard Riakporhe. Purse bids for the showcase will take place on August 8, aiming for a late September or early October spectacle on the Gold Coast. Extract from the Brisbane Times.
There have been plenty of announcements this year about Jai & Justis. Unfortunately, we haven't seen either of them in the ring. Now we're getting an announcement about fights that depend on the outcome of a purse bid process that's yet to be decided. Hmmm, okay. It's certainly something to look forward to if it happens but I think I'm in the 'believe it when I see it' category at this point.
If they win the purse bid & the other guy elects to come down here & fight, it should be a great show. I hope it plays out that way.
Great to see Brubaker back. I was wondering about him. He should of gave it another crack and he has. As much as I like the guy, I think Tszyu bashes him. I believe he will get K.O'd early, maybe even in the first round. Nikita imo can be better than both his father and brother. And that's saying a lot I know.
Nikita is an outright savage. But he's too loose defensively and easy to hit. He's going to get into some wars. I'm not sure he can be better than Tim but I see your point. Neither of them will be better than their Dad. Kostya is an ATG, one of the very best ever at 140. Brubaker, as you rightly point out is no chance against Nikita.
How did young England look on Friday night? Surprised he didn't knock the bugger out. I thought he beat Showtime last year. That was one almighty scrap.
Also when's Paro fighting again. I believe in that kid. I reckon he would have taken Prograis out. Destroyed Jarvis last year. Brock is a very good boxer too. But damn that left......
