Yeah Bud's resume was weak too, all the belts he garnered did little for his resume, which is why he needed to fight Spence to make people realise how good he was.

Bud was shot in the head when he was 4-0 and went on to achieve all that he did, but people were not going, damn he was shot in the head then won all those titles, sure his resume sucks, but he must be an ATG because he came back from that. Why would I grade Spence differently?

Yeah it's tough to come back from any injury but sports people do this all the time and yes his injuries were not the normal sports injuries one gets but other athletes have done similar things.

Petra Kivitova had her hand sliced up by an intruder and she didn't know if she'd ever play again and came back and looked as good as ever.

Monica Seles was stabbed on court but then came back and won the Aussi Open.

Vinny Pazienza was in a horrible car accident, his injuries worse than Spence but came back and had a long career.

Greg LeMond was shot in a hunting accident, almost died, lost 65% of his blood volume, had complications and further surgeries. Then went onto win 2 Tour de France's and is probably the greatest American cyclist of all time.

Great athletes overcome obstacles, these obstacles only make them work harder and get better. Spence simply isn't on that level and never was.

Getting shot in the head is traumatic but it missed his vital organs (his brain), Spence got thrown 40 feet from a high speed accident and his body landed on concrete.. you're saying Spence is overrated, but comparing incidents who do you think was more impacted, Spence or Crawford?

I'll give you my opinion, Crawford went on from 4-0 to be a highly successful boxer, Spence going into the Garcia fight had alot of questions hanging over his head like... can he still take a punch? How well is his coordination going to be?

He beat guys like Garcia and Ugas through Perceverance, and skills not because he was overrated fighting guys that aren't good and this was done after he got thrown 40 feet from a car at high speeds. Garcia and Ugas are highly touted fighters still at 147 and now 154 with Garcia. Spence isn't overrated.

The way Crawford schooled him without getting out of first gear suggest he was overrated. Many picked him to win, you think he can beat Crawford in the rematch? If not and you picked him to win before hand then that's text book overrating a fighter. Every person who picked him to win overrated him. So yes he was overrated.

Do you think at 5'5 you can walk away from being thrown 40 feet from a high speed vehicle?

So everybody who picked Hopkins to beat Kovalev Overrated Hopkins because belts and accolades mean nothing? So Hopkins is overrated?Got it.

Lol, technically with less body mass my injuries would probably be less than Spence. What injuries did he actually sustain? Clearly they were not so bad he couldn't recover from them and be clearly to fight.

Hopkins what has Hopkins got to do with this. He's usually been the underdog throughout his career, if anything he was under rated for a long time.

What does Hopkins have to do with this? Obviously nothing because only Spence can be overrated because everyone who picked him to win overrated him, but everybody else, guys like Hopkins can only be underrated despite many people picking the 49 year old to beat an Undefeated KO artist in his peak years. Got it.

Nah bro you be flat like a pancake. Lesser body mass would mean you're not going 40 feet you're going 50+ feet at a higher velocity. Normal people don't make it out of that type of accident. We really don't know, but his speech has been alot slower since the accident, his eyes have looked alot different he could have been misdiagnosed when he had a TBI, we don't know that.

You'll always get people that will try and discredit a win, ignoring the fact that a fighter was either an underdog or in a 50/50 fight beforehand.

In the end your diagnosis of him is pure speculation on your part. Pac had a big head so he's on PED's, Spence looks glassy eyed and talks slower in your opinion so he has a TBI. That's not proof, your trying to state he's not the same fighter, well then prove it. Reality is you can't you don't have access to his medical records. It suits your opinion that he is now damaged goods, yet you probably picked him to win before hand and only now when he's lost and lost so convincingly due you wheel out the excuses.

Spence was very poor indeed - of course, Bud made him look this way, but even Crawford himself looked a bit slowed-down. He certainly didn't have to get out first gear as mentioned, which would be needed against Ennis.

If he was still a welterweight, he apparently out grew the division against the wrong guy.

The bullet grazed him and caught some skin. He drove himself to the ER, got stitched up, and was discharged the same day. They make it sound like he had a bullet lodged in his dome and survived.
