Crawford is in the big or meaningful fights only stage of career. His popularity has skyrocketed since last week, most rightfully finally recognize him as best fighter in the world.

He may not get the fight but the WBO is not going to make Crawford the mandatory so that fight wouldn't be for all the belts. Charlo may get away with it once via Canelo but Tszyu will have first refusal if the WBO belt (at least) isn't stripped already.

Then there are two other matters:

1) Convincing Tszyu to take step aside money which I think is unlikely.
2) The small matter of the Spence rematch clause.

 

Tim don't have skills to challenge Bud. He will suffer

Charlo cannot keep all the belts without going through Tszyu one way or the other after he fights Canelo.

Possibly not. But he is certainly bigger, stronger and hits harder than Bud. That gives him a shot.

And we heard all this pre the Harrison fight. I mean people in here expected Ocampo to give him some headaches too.

Tszyu is really good. If he was American he'd already be a superstar.

 

If Spence demands the rematch, Charlo will be forced to fight Tszyu in the meantime.

Personally I think Canelo destroys Charlo in a fearful beating and Charlo walks away.

 

see where canelo is at. His fans were literally saying hed beat usyk and beterbiev before the bivol fight. glad they calmed down after that shutout. Shocked there was no robbery talk.

 

Yeah, that's an odd position to take. There is no scenario where Canelo gets remotely close to beating Usyk. Bivol is good but he ain't Usyk.

But Canelo won't have any trouble at all with Charlo.
